Description
Allah Subhanahu Wata-aala Said in the Holly Quran.
{ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ ذَاۤىِٕقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 185]
Every Soul shall taste death, irrespective of who you are, what you are, where you are, how big you may be, 8 ft, 7ft, every soul will taste death.
{ هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِینࣲ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰۤ أَجَلࣰاۖ وَأَجَلࣱ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُونَ }
[Surah Al-Anʿām: 2]
He is the one who created you from clay and specified a term [for you] and another fixed time, known only to Him; yet still you doubt!
50 years ?, you might even make it to 100,
{ وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلࣱۖ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَأۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةࣰ وَلَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 34]
There is a time set for every people: there will not be delay not even for a zillionth of a second.
There after,
{ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوۡنَ أُجُورَكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۖ
you will be paid in full only on the Day of Resurrection.
What is Success ?
To have a fat car, Subaru, money in bank account, moving around with women to your left and right?
Allah is Saying
فَمَن زُحۡزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ فَقَدۡ فَازَۗ
Whoever can save himself from Jahannam the Eternal punishment of hell [ in which the punishments will not come to an end but will increase by the second, pain beyond the comprehession of the human mind ] and admitted to the Garden, he is the one that has succeeded.
My younger friend 🧡
Do not be decieved by that BMW that you may drive, do not be decieved by that fat Jaguar or Raptor that you may drive, do not be decieved by the fancy house you may live in, tall lofty buildings, beautiful houses, beautiful cloths that you may wear why ?
وَمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلۡغُرُورِ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 185]
The present world is only an illusory pleasure:
Why, because everything on this dunya will come to an end and this Dunya will also come to an end, why ?
{ كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡهَا فَانࣲ }
[Surah Ar-Raḥmān: 26]
Everyone on earth perishes;
{ وَیَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ }
[Surah Ar-Raḥmān: 27]
all that remains is the Face of your Lord, full of majesty, bestowing honour.
{ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِی تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَـٰقِیكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ }
[Surah Al-Jumuʿah: 8]
Say Oh Muhammad SAW , ‘You know this death that you are running away from
You know at this moment in time you and I, we are running away from death, we really dont believe it.
You see the Masaajid full only a Friday, on Idd day, but the rest of the year my young friend, we dont see the masaajid full,
When its time for Swalah, we become deaf and blind to the teachings of Allah and His rasul, when its time for Zakah, fasting, Hajj, our A'mal show that we dont believe in death, so Allah is Saying.
You can run wherever you may like, you can go in the depths of the, my friend you can climb the peak of the everest, you can hide in the darkness of the amazon, or kalahari Bush, you can even go to mars. When your time comes to an end, wherever you are.
{ أَیۡنَمَا تَكُونُوا۟ یُدۡرِككُّمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ وَلَوۡ كُنتُمۡ فِی بُرُوجࣲ مُّشَیَّدَةࣲۗ
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 78]
Death will overtake you no matter where you may be, even inside high towers.’
Pentagon has high security, you can go and hide there, but my younger friend when it's your time, all over a sudden, the barrier will be removed from your eyes, you are here on earth, but now you can see the Akhira
You will see that angel standing before you wherever you are in any corner of the globe.
You cannot escape, you could be Elon musk and you could posess billions and billions of dollars, my friend you can take the Virgin space ship and go to space, when your time comes to an end, believe or dont believe, you will see that Angel standing before you, he will get you.
ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Death will come to meet you and you will be returned to the One who knows the unseen as well as the seen: He will tell you everything you have done.’
Everyone of us will return to the absolute master.
You know at this moment in time you may do wrong and probably your mother and father won't find out, you probably go all the way to the night clubs to wine and dine, making sure that your mother and father or anyone of your relatives have a clue to what you do, but you know what, He is watching every single thing that you do and every word that your tongue uttered and He will inform you of everything that you've done.
The angels are recording your deeds my young friend, they will inform Him of everything that you did.
And you wanna try denying, then my young friend, the very earth that you wronged Him.
{ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا (4) بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا (5) }
[Surah Az-Zalzalah: 4-5]
The eath on which you stole, the earth on which you fornicated, the earth on which you went to the night club,
That earth will begin to say Oh Allah Abdullah was here on the 7th of October at 8 pm, Oh Allah I saw him, he was here.
on that Day, it will tell all, because your Lord will inspire it [to do so].
On that Day, people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds:
And if you still try to deny,
{ یَوۡمَ تَشۡهَدُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمۡ وَأَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَأَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ }
[Surah An-Nūr: 24]
My young friends, these hands belong to you, the taunge belongs to you, but on the Day you will have no control over your own tounge, your arms and legs, why ?
their own tongues, hands, and feet will testify against them about what they have done-
Abdullah bin Umar R.A said a man came to the prophet SAW Oh Rasulullah
من أكيس الناس who
Who is the most wise of men the prophet is it one who graduates as a doctor, is it an engineer answered the one who prepares for the next life
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: "أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا". قَالَ: فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَكْيَسُ؟ قَالَ: "أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْمَوْتِ ذِكْرًا، وَأَحْسَنُهُمْ لِمَا بَعْدَهُ اسْتِعْدَادًا، أُولَئِكَ الْأَكْيَاسُ".
Translation:
Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when a man from the Ansar came to him and greeted the Prophet (peace be upon him). Then he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?' He said, 'The one with the best character.' He asked, 'And which of the believers is the wisest (or most prudent)?' He said, 'The one who remembers death most often and is best prepared for what comes after it. Those are the wise ones.'"
He controlled his nafs, he would do muhasaba on his nafs. Pray, fast, help.
He knows He is only here for a few days, hussein ultimate destination is the Akhira.
Sayyina Ali R.A relates
ارتحلت الدنيا مدبرة، وارتحلت الآخرة مقبلة، ولكل واحدة منهما بنون. فكونوا من أبناء الآخرة، ولا تكونوا من أبناء الدنيا،
As everyday passes, this world is coming to an end, and the Hereafter is coming closer and closer and closer.
And for each of them had children.
You know people that work day and night so they can buy 5 cars.
Oh Muslims, wisen up, dont be among the children of the world become the children of the Hereafter those that strive to be pleased by Allah.
فإن اليوم عمل ولا حساب، وغداً حساب ولا عمل
For indeed, today is action without reckoning, and tomorrow is reckoning without action."
Tomorrow you will say to the Lord of Creation
{ فَلَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةࣰ فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ }
[Surah Ash-Shuʿarāʾ: 102]
If only we could live our lives again, we would be true believers!’
Oh Allah i will put my head in prostration and i will not get up from prostration till you take my soul from my body, Oh Allah just give me one chance and I will prove it to You qnd I will show you how good and Pious servant i am.
My young friend you can ask as many times as you want, no chance will be given to you.
My young friend you will be asked
عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"لَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ عُمُرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ، وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ، وَعَنْ مَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ، وَعَنْ عِلْمِهِ مَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيهِ."
Translation:
"The feet of a servant will not move on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about four things: about his lifespan—in what did he spend it, about his youth—in what did he wear it out, about his wealth—from where did he earn it and on what did he spend it, and about his knowledge—what did he do with it."
My Young friend, it doesn't come anymore simpler than this.
فكون من أبناء الآخرة ولا تكونوا من أبناء الدنيا
Willl you be from the sons of the dunya or will you be the sons of Akhira, you give preference to Allah and His Rasul.
So today, I will help you answer this question.
And today All i have come to do is to ask you one simple Question,
My young friend, will you be the sons of Dunya or Akhira ? What path will you choose?
In this gathering I want you to answer this question on your own accord
Let me help you today by giving you the consequences of the one that gives preference to this life over the Akhira the surprises that Allah Has prepared for him
Sayyiduna Uthman ibn Affan
R.A the third caliph of Islam
It was narrated in Sunan al-Tirmidhi
عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ إِذَا وَقَفَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ بَكَى حَتَّى يَبُلَّ لِحْيَتَهُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: تَذْكُرُ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ فَلَا تَبْكِي، وَتَبْكِي مِنْ هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِنَّ الْقَبْرَ أَوَّلُ مَنَازِلِ الْآخِرَةِ، فَإِنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ، فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَيْسَرُ مِنْهُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْجُ مِنْهُ، فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ."
(رواه الترمذي)
when he would stand on the grave he would cry alot till his beard became wet.
But if he doesn't succeed at this stage when the angels Munkar and nakir have asked him, he will find hardship in the grave, judgement day, jahannam more and more difficult.
If you want to believe you believe if you dont want to believe then dont believe.
You wanna live a life winning and dining, you wanna live a life chilling and drilling then you do this, but remember that the last laugh will be with none other than the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi.
Because The prophet SAW
تَمُتُوْنَ كما تحيون وتُحْشِرُنَ كما تموتن كل عبدٍ يُبْعثُ على ما مات عليه.
You know if you have lived winning and dining and then you think in your little mind that at your point of death, you will utter the kalima Laila ha illa llah then you and I are living in cooku land.
Then in contrary to this someone who has lived worshipping Allah, Allah might honor him and he might die on Sujuud.
In an Authentic hadith
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى قَبْرَيْنِ، فَقَالَ:
"إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ، وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ."
(رواه البخاري ومسلم)
Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said:
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by two graves and said:
'Indeed, they are being punished, and they are not being punished for a major sin (in their view). As for one of them, he was not careful to protect himself from his urine. As for the other, he used to walk about with slander (gossip).'"
Ibn Shabra ibn ra-abah ajjuhani was from amongst the awliyau llah of Basra he relates he says in sham [syria] I was present on one occasion at a time of death of a believer,
And he says then people were telling him to do Talkin, they were telling him to do the Qalimah lailaha illa llah.
Because the prophet SAW said
مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
So this dying believer, they are encouraging him to say the Kalima.
My friend at a time of death, look what he tells the people.
• اشربوا واسقوني
He's telling all those around him, take alcohol, and give me a glass of wine to drink.
A man in the city of Ahwaz was a well-known moneylender and was completely engrossed in his business. When he was on his deathbed, a pious scholar or his family members gathered around him to help him say the Shahada, "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah).
Every time they would prompt him to say the words, he would begin muttering and counting with his fingers. They would say, "Say 'La ilaha illallah!'" and he would respond with a glazed look, counting: "5... 6... 7..."
You know what death comes merciless,
Don't think the angel will ring you and inform you that he's coming for you.
The great scholar Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (رحمه الله) discusses the causes and signs of a bad ending (su' al-khatima) in his famous book, "Sharah al-Sudur fi Ahwal al-Mawta wa al-Qubur" (Explanation of the Chests Regarding the States of the Deceased and the Graves).
says there are 4 signs
• التَّكاسُلُ عَنِ الصّلاة
• Laziness with regards to prayer
• شرب الخمر
• Drinking alcohol
• عقوق الوالدين
• Disrespecting parents
• إيذاءُ المسلمين
• Hurting Muslims
• التَّكاسُلُ عَنِ الصّلاة
Who can say they have missed a single prayer since the time of puberty.
You know as well as I, this is the biggest obligation in Islam, open the books of Allah, how many times has Allah reminded you about swalah, every second page.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:
"الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى وَقْتِهَا."
To read Swalah in its due time, this is the best deed that Allah loves most
شُرب الخمر
Taking Alcohol 🍸
You know we might not even take alcohol because from our young age, we were instilled not to take it, But tell me amongst the youth today who doesn't take a spliff.
And they dont even consider it haram.
عقوق الوالدين
Disrespecting mother and father, today alot of parents are crying, they have lost control over their children.
• The hadith which Al-Hafith Al-Mundhiri
has related in the book At-Targhib wa At-Tarhib on the authority of awaan bin Ali comes to mind, He says i went to a tribe there was a tonner this tribe and after asr this grave opened, a man came out of this grave his head was that of a donkey and his body was human, he hee hooed like a donkey.
This hadith was related infront of a masters of hadith, not one single master rejected it.
The next thing. إيذاءُ المسلمين
Troubling the believers. In whichever form it may be, whether its swearing at someone, whether its bulling someone, whether you've borrowed some money from someone and you are not paying back, whether its slandering, backbiting, this is a cause for a bad death.
The hadith of the prophet SAW
إِذَا خَلَصَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنَ النَّارِ حُبِسُوا بِقَنْطَرَةٍ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، فَيَتَقَاصُّونَ مَظَالِمَ كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا، حَتَّى إِذَا نُقُّوا وَهُذِّبُوا أُذِنَ لَهُمْ بِدُخُولِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ لأَحَدُهُمْ بِمَسْكَنِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَدَلُّ بِمَنْزِلِهِ كَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."
So when this dying disobedient person is dying Tamimi Aldaari R.A relates that Rasulullah SAW said that the Almighty Allah Says to the angel of death
*Oh Angel of Death,
انْطَلِقْ إِلَى عَدُوِّي فُلَانٍ، فَأْتِنِي بِهِ، فَإِنِّي قَدْ بَسَطْتُ لَهُ فِي الرِّزْقِ، وَسَرْبَلْتُهُ فِي نِعْمَتِي، فَأَبَى إِلَّا مَعْصِيَتِي
"Go to My enemy, and bring him to Me. For I extended his provision for him, and I clothed him in My blessings, yet he refused to acknowledge me, he refused to believe in me, he rejected my prophet."
Allah classes this individual as His enemy, what do you think Allah will do to those that He classes as His enemy.
This is not some ordinary fighter, you may find on the streets so that you fight one on one ,
You know we're talking about the Lord of the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi, we're talking about the Lord of the world's, Alhamdulillah rabbil Alamin, we're talking about the Lord of the entire universe and beyond.
You know we live in this Dunya, and we are fascinated with this dunya which Allah Subhanahu Wata-aala Has indeed created in a beautiful manner, we're over 8 billion people that live on this dunya at this moment in time
This Dunya of Allah Subhanahu Wata-aala is so big, my young friends, there is space in this dunya for billions and billions of more people.
Physically fitting (standing room only):
Up to about 500–600 trillion people could fit on all of Earth’s land if each person had just enough space to stand.
Realistically living (with food, water, homes, and resources):
Most scientific estimates suggest Earth can sustainably support somewhere between 2–15 billion people, depending on technology, consumption, and lifestyle choices.
This is just earth.
Between the heavens are 500 years, after this, you have the kursi of Allah.
And when Allah says to the Angel of death bring him to Me, i showerd him with blessings.
{ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَاۤۗ }
[Surah An-Naḥl: 18]
If you and I were to count the blessings of Allah, I swear by Allah our lives would come to an end but we won't be able to finish counting the blessings of Allah.
You have people in Palestine they are begging Allah, they dint even know where their next morsel will come from.
If you want conflex, you are in position to have it, if you want serial, you can actually have it.
On top of this, the hands with which we touch, the tounge with which we taste, the ears with which we hear, the eyes with which we see.
Look at this countless blessings of Allah,
You know in this very gathering, if you are to go blind. Think about it.
Then, when he dies, Allah will say to the Angel of death, go bring him to Me.
الْمَيِّتُ تَحْضُرُهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ فَإِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ صَالِحًا قَالُوا : اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الطَّيِّبَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الطَّيِّبِ اخْرُجِي حَمِيدَةً وَأَبْشِرِي بِرَوْحٍ وَرَيْحَانٍ وَرَبٍّ غَيْرِ غَضْبَانَ فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ ثُمَّ يُعْرَجُ بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَيُفْتَحُ لَهَا فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا فَيَقُولُونَ : فُلاَنٌ . فَيُقَالُ : مَرْحَبًا بِالنَّفْسِ الطَّيِّبَةِ، كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الطَّيِّبِ ادْخُلِي حَمِيدَةً، وَأَبْشِرِي بِرَوْحٍ وَرَيْحَانٍ وَرَبٍّ غَيْرِ غَضْبَانَ . فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُنْتَهَى بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الَّتِي فِيهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَإِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ السُّوءُ قَالَ اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْخَبِيثَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ اخْرُجِي ذَمِيمَةً وَأَبْشِرِي بِحَمِيمٍ وَغَسَّاقٍ . وَآخَرَ مِنْ شَكْلِهِ أَزْوَاجٌ . فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ ثُمَّ يُعْرَجُ بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَلاَ يُفْتَحُ لَهَا فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا فَيُقَالُ : فُلاَنٌ . فَيُقَالُ : لاَ مَرْحَبًا بِالنَّفْسِ الْخَبِيثَةِ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ ارْجِعِي ذَمِيمَةً فَإِنَّهَا لاَ تُفْتَحُ لَكِ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ فَيُرْسَلُ بِهَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ تَصِيرُ إِلَى الْقَبْرِ
The Soul of a Righteous Person
When a person is dying, angels attend to them. If the person was righteous, the angels say, "Come out, O pure soul, from the pure body. Come out praiseworthy, and receive good tidings of comfort, fragrance, and a Lord who is not angry." A fragrance like the finest musk on Earth emanates from it.
This is said to the soul until it departs.
Then, the soul is ascended to the heavens, and the gates are opened for it. It is asked, "Who is this?" and the angels with the soul reply, "So-and-so." Then it is said, "Welcome, O pure soul, from the pure body. Enter praiseworthy, and receive good tidings of comfort, fragrance, and a Lord who is not angry." This is repeated until the soul reaches the heaven where Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, is.
The Soul of a Wicked Person
On the other hand, if the person was wicked, the angels say, "Come out, O wicked soul, from the wicked body. Come out disgraced, and receive good tidings of boiling water and pus, and other things of a similar horrible nature." This is said to the soul until it departs.
Then the soul is ascended to the heavens, but the gates are not opened for it. It is asked, "Who is this?" and the angels with the soul reply, "So-and-so." Then it is said, "There is no welcome for the wicked soul from the wicked body. Return disgraced, for the gates of heaven will not be opened for you." The soul is then sent down from the heavens and returns to the grave.
A story of Ibrahim and the angel of death.
He told him, show me the form that you assume when you come to take the soul of a good believer
After showing him, he said if this was the only blessing that Allah had installed for a believer, just looking at the beauty of your face that Allah Has given you, that would be sufficient.
He turns back, what he sees, a man black face dark clothing, he's head black clothing, , his feet is on the earth, his body is covered with hair, under every hair, there are flames of fire which are leaping, flames of fire coming out his nose, flames of fire coming out of his mouth, he has in in hand and folk made up of fire, 500 angels accompanying him, all frightening to look at, and each one of them is carrying whips made up of fire.
• Like I said, you cant hide, even if you are in Survival Condos or the Oppidum, death will come to you.
My young friend this is how the angel of death will come for you, he will strike you with such force, with these forks made up of fire will penetrate, get stuck in, every limb, every bone, every joint and every joint.
Now he will twist and turn.
{ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذۡ یَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ یَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَـٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ }
[Surah Al-Anfāl: 50]
If only you [Prophet] could see, when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers, how they strike their faces and backs: it will be said, ‘Taste the punishment of the Fire.
Now my young friend, the angel of death will call out.
اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْخَبِيثَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ، اخْرُجِي إِلَى سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ، وَظِلٍّ مِنْ يَحْمُومٍ، لَا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ
Get out oh accursed soul, to a place of scorching wind, shadows of black smoke, no cool, not refreshing.
Look at the reality. The reality is set, my young friends, that your soul will want nothing to do with this body, and this body will want nothing to do with this soul, and they will both blame one another. The soul will say to the body,
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ عَنِّي شَرًّا، فَقَدْ كُنْتَ سَرِيعًا إِلَى مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، بَطِيئًا عَنْ طَاعَتِهِ، فَقَدْ هَلَكْتُ وَهَلَكْتَ
May Allah give you a bad reward. May Allah punish you. You were quick in disobeying the Almighty Allah. You were slow in obeying Him. Not only have you destroyed yourself, you have also destroyed me. Me, the soul, will be punished, and you, the body, will also be punished. The soul will curse the body, and the body will begin to curse the soul.
The earth on which you wronged Allah will also begin to curse you.
Oh Allah Millions of thanks to you that today, you have rid me of this man.
The army of Iblis throws a party that you know what, today we have sent 1 son of Adam to hell.
Now, the journey to the heavens will begin.
Everything they pass other angels, the angels will say
ما هذا روح الخبيث
فلان بن فلان بِأقْبِ أسماء الذي تسمى بهه في الدنيا
Now they reach heavens, then, the door of heaven will not be opened.
{ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ عَنۡهَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمۡ أَبۡوَ ٰبُ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَلَا یَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ حَتَّىٰ یَلِجَ ٱلۡجَمَلُ فِی سَمِّ ٱلۡخِیَاطِۚ وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 40]
“Indeed, those who deny Our signs and turn away from them in arrogance — the gates of heaven will never be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until the camel passes through the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the wicked.”
And Allah will call out, write the soul in the lowest hell, in the lowest earth. This is when the prophet read
{ حُنَفَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ غَیۡرَ مُشۡرِكِینَ بِهِۦۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَتَخۡطَفُهُ ٱلطَّیۡرُ أَوۡ تَهۡوِی بِهِ ٱلرِّیحُ فِی مَكَانࣲ سَحِیقࣲ }
[Surah Al-Ḥajj: 31]
Devote yourselves to God and assign Him no partners, for the person who does so is like someone who has been hurled down from the skies and snatched up by the birds or flung to a distant place by the wind.
Now, his spul will be returned inside his grave, the grave will say.
كُنْتَ لَأَبْغَضَ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَى ظَهْرِي إِلَيَّ
Out of all people that walked on me, you are the one I hated the most you are the one you the most
The grave will then embrace him with such force that the ribs of one side, they will penetrate into the other side.
And now, the angels Munkar Wa Nakir will come.
The prophet SAW on one occasion he was asked describe these angels so he said
أَبْصَارُهُمَا كَالْبَرْقِ الْخَاطِفِ، وَأَصْوَاتُهُمَا كَالرَّعْدِ الْقَاصِفِ، وَأَنْيَابُهُمَا كَالصِّيَاصِ، وَأَنْفَاسُهُمَا كَالْهَبُوبِ، يَطْعَنَانِ فِي أَشْعَارِهِمَا، بَيْنَ مَنْكِبَيْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مَسِيرَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا كَانَ فِيهِمَا الرَّأْفَةُ وَالرَّحْمَةُ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
Their eyes, glitter like lightning, their voices, rumble like thunder, their teeth are like the teath of a bone, their hair reach their feet, the distance between their shoulders is miles apart, in these people, there is not even an ounce of Mercy in their hearts. Their mercy is only for true believers
مَا أَقُولُ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا عَمُودٌ مِنْ حَدِيثٍ، لَوِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا حَرَّكُوهُ."
Each one of them will carry a hammer of steal. All those within the dunya if they were to get together just to pick one of these hammers, they won't be able to lift it.
So the angels will reproach him in such a manner that every bone in his body will begin to crack.
Thereafter, they will ask him the three questions,
مَن ربُّك
ما دينك
من هذا الرجل
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، - وَهَذَا لَفْظُ هَنَّادٍ - عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ، فَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَجَلَسْنَا حَوْلَهُ كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِنَا الطَّيْرُ، وَفِي يَدِهِ عُودٌ يَنْكُتُ بِهِ فِي الأَرْضِ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ : " اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا - زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ هَا هُنَا - وَقَالَ : " وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ حِينَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : يَا هَذَا مَنْ رَبُّكَ وَمَا دِينُكَ وَمَنْ نَبِيُّكَ " . قَالَ هَنَّادٌ قَالَ : " وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ : رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ : دِينِي الإِسْلاَمُ . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ : هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَيَقُولاَنِ : وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ فَيَقُولُ : قَرَأْتُ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَآمَنْتُ بِهِ وَصَدَّقْتُ " . زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ : " فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا } " . الآيَةَ . ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا قَالَ : " فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ : أَنْ قَدْ صَدَقَ عَبْدِي فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ : " فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ رَوْحِهَا وَطِيبِهَا " . قَالَ : " وَيُفْتَحُ لَهُ فِيهَا مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ " . قَالَ : " وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ " . فَذَكَرَ مَوْتَهُ قَالَ : " وَتُعَادُ رُوحُهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولاَنِ : مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيَقُولاَنِ : مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ : أَنْ كَذَبَ فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى النَّارِ " . قَالَ : " فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ حَرِّهَا وَسَمُومِهَا " . قَالَ : " وَيُضَيَّقُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْرُهُ حَتَّى تَخْتَلِفَ فِيهِ أَضْلاَعُهُ " . زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ : " ثُمَّ يُقَيَّضُ لَهُ أَعْمَى أَبْكَمُ مَعَهُ مِرْزَبَّةٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ، لَوْ ضُرِبَ بِهَا جَبَلٌ لَصَارَ تُرَابًا " . قَالَ : " فَيَضْرِبُهُ بِهَا ضَرْبَةً يَسْمَعُهَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ إِلاَّ الثَّقَلَيْنِ فَيَصِيرُ تُرَابًا " . قَالَ : " ثُمَّ تُعَادُ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ "
Sahih
Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib:
We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accompanying the bier of a man of the Ansar. When we reached his grave, it was not yet dug. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat down and we also sat down around him as if birds were over our heads. He had in his hand a stick with which he was scratching the ground.
He then raised his head and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. He said it twice or thrice.
The version of Jabir adds here: He hears the beat of their sandals when they go back, and at that moment he is asked: O so and so! Who is your Lord, what is your religion, and who is your Prophet?
Hannad's version says: Two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your Lord?
He will reply: My Lord is Allah. They will ask him: What is your religion? He will reply: My religion is Islam. They will ask him: What is your opinion about the man who was sent on a mission among you? He will reply: He is the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). They will ask: Who made you aware of this? He will reply: I read Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true; which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true, which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah establishes those who believe with the word that stands firm in this world and the next."
The agreed version reads: Then a crier will call from Heaven: My servant has spoken the truth, so spread a bed for him from Paradise, clothe him from Paradise, and open a door for him into Paradise. So some of its air and perfume will come to him, and a space will be made for him as far as the eye can see.
He also mentioned the death of the infidel, saying: His spirit will be restored to his body, two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your Lord?
Allah says
{ أَرَءَیۡتَ مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ إِلَ
{ كُلُّ نَفۡسࣲ ذَاۤىِٕقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 185]
Every Soul shall taste death, irrespective of who you are, what you are, where you are, how big you may be, 8 ft, 7ft, every soul will taste death.
{ هُوَ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَكُم مِّن طِینࣲ ثُمَّ قَضَىٰۤ أَجَلࣰاۖ وَأَجَلࣱ مُّسَمًّى عِندَهُۥۖ ثُمَّ أَنتُمۡ تَمۡتَرُونَ }
[Surah Al-Anʿām: 2]
He is the one who created you from clay and specified a term [for you] and another fixed time, known only to Him; yet still you doubt!
50 years ?, you might even make it to 100,
{ وَلِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلࣱۖ فَإِذَا جَاۤءَ أَجَلُهُمۡ لَا یَسۡتَأۡخِرُونَ سَاعَةࣰ وَلَا یَسۡتَقۡدِمُونَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 34]
There is a time set for every people: there will not be delay not even for a zillionth of a second.
There after,
{ وَإِنَّمَا تُوَفَّوۡنَ أُجُورَكُمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۖ
you will be paid in full only on the Day of Resurrection.
What is Success ?
To have a fat car, Subaru, money in bank account, moving around with women to your left and right?
Allah is Saying
فَمَن زُحۡزِحَ عَنِ ٱلنَّارِ وَأُدۡخِلَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ فَقَدۡ فَازَۗ
Whoever can save himself from Jahannam the Eternal punishment of hell [ in which the punishments will not come to an end but will increase by the second, pain beyond the comprehession of the human mind ] and admitted to the Garden, he is the one that has succeeded.
My younger friend 🧡
Do not be decieved by that BMW that you may drive, do not be decieved by that fat Jaguar or Raptor that you may drive, do not be decieved by the fancy house you may live in, tall lofty buildings, beautiful houses, beautiful cloths that you may wear why ?
وَمَا ٱلۡحَیَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡیَاۤ إِلَّا مَتَـٰعُ ٱلۡغُرُورِ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 185]
The present world is only an illusory pleasure:
Why, because everything on this dunya will come to an end and this Dunya will also come to an end, why ?
{ كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَیۡهَا فَانࣲ }
[Surah Ar-Raḥmān: 26]
Everyone on earth perishes;
{ وَیَبۡقَىٰ وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلۡجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلۡإِكۡرَامِ }
[Surah Ar-Raḥmān: 27]
all that remains is the Face of your Lord, full of majesty, bestowing honour.
{ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ ٱلَّذِی تَفِرُّونَ مِنۡهُ فَإِنَّهُۥ مُلَـٰقِیكُمۡۖ ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ }
[Surah Al-Jumuʿah: 8]
Say Oh Muhammad SAW , ‘You know this death that you are running away from
You know at this moment in time you and I, we are running away from death, we really dont believe it.
You see the Masaajid full only a Friday, on Idd day, but the rest of the year my young friend, we dont see the masaajid full,
When its time for Swalah, we become deaf and blind to the teachings of Allah and His rasul, when its time for Zakah, fasting, Hajj, our A'mal show that we dont believe in death, so Allah is Saying.
You can run wherever you may like, you can go in the depths of the, my friend you can climb the peak of the everest, you can hide in the darkness of the amazon, or kalahari Bush, you can even go to mars. When your time comes to an end, wherever you are.
{ أَیۡنَمَا تَكُونُوا۟ یُدۡرِككُّمُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ وَلَوۡ كُنتُمۡ فِی بُرُوجࣲ مُّشَیَّدَةࣲۗ
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 78]
Death will overtake you no matter where you may be, even inside high towers.’
Pentagon has high security, you can go and hide there, but my younger friend when it's your time, all over a sudden, the barrier will be removed from your eyes, you are here on earth, but now you can see the Akhira
You will see that angel standing before you wherever you are in any corner of the globe.
You cannot escape, you could be Elon musk and you could posess billions and billions of dollars, my friend you can take the Virgin space ship and go to space, when your time comes to an end, believe or dont believe, you will see that Angel standing before you, he will get you.
ثُمَّ تُرَدُّونَ إِلَىٰ عَـٰلِمِ ٱلۡغَیۡبِ وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ فَیُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
Death will come to meet you and you will be returned to the One who knows the unseen as well as the seen: He will tell you everything you have done.’
Everyone of us will return to the absolute master.
You know at this moment in time you may do wrong and probably your mother and father won't find out, you probably go all the way to the night clubs to wine and dine, making sure that your mother and father or anyone of your relatives have a clue to what you do, but you know what, He is watching every single thing that you do and every word that your tongue uttered and He will inform you of everything that you've done.
The angels are recording your deeds my young friend, they will inform Him of everything that you did.
And you wanna try denying, then my young friend, the very earth that you wronged Him.
{ یَوۡمَىِٕذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا (4) بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا (5) }
[Surah Az-Zalzalah: 4-5]
The eath on which you stole, the earth on which you fornicated, the earth on which you went to the night club,
That earth will begin to say Oh Allah Abdullah was here on the 7th of October at 8 pm, Oh Allah I saw him, he was here.
on that Day, it will tell all, because your Lord will inspire it [to do so].
On that Day, people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds:
And if you still try to deny,
{ یَوۡمَ تَشۡهَدُ عَلَیۡهِمۡ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمۡ وَأَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَأَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ }
[Surah An-Nūr: 24]
My young friends, these hands belong to you, the taunge belongs to you, but on the Day you will have no control over your own tounge, your arms and legs, why ?
their own tongues, hands, and feet will testify against them about what they have done-
Abdullah bin Umar R.A said a man came to the prophet SAW Oh Rasulullah
من أكيس الناس who
Who is the most wise of men the prophet is it one who graduates as a doctor, is it an engineer answered the one who prepares for the next life
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَسَلَّمَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: "أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا". قَالَ: فَأَيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَكْيَسُ؟ قَالَ: "أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلْمَوْتِ ذِكْرًا، وَأَحْسَنُهُمْ لِمَا بَعْدَهُ اسْتِعْدَادًا، أُولَئِكَ الْأَكْيَاسُ".
Translation:
Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when a man from the Ansar came to him and greeted the Prophet (peace be upon him). Then he said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which of the believers is best?' He said, 'The one with the best character.' He asked, 'And which of the believers is the wisest (or most prudent)?' He said, 'The one who remembers death most often and is best prepared for what comes after it. Those are the wise ones.'"
He controlled his nafs, he would do muhasaba on his nafs. Pray, fast, help.
He knows He is only here for a few days, hussein ultimate destination is the Akhira.
Sayyina Ali R.A relates
ارتحلت الدنيا مدبرة، وارتحلت الآخرة مقبلة، ولكل واحدة منهما بنون. فكونوا من أبناء الآخرة، ولا تكونوا من أبناء الدنيا،
As everyday passes, this world is coming to an end, and the Hereafter is coming closer and closer and closer.
And for each of them had children.
You know people that work day and night so they can buy 5 cars.
Oh Muslims, wisen up, dont be among the children of the world become the children of the Hereafter those that strive to be pleased by Allah.
فإن اليوم عمل ولا حساب، وغداً حساب ولا عمل
For indeed, today is action without reckoning, and tomorrow is reckoning without action."
Tomorrow you will say to the Lord of Creation
{ فَلَوۡ أَنَّ لَنَا كَرَّةࣰ فَنَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِینَ }
[Surah Ash-Shuʿarāʾ: 102]
If only we could live our lives again, we would be true believers!’
Oh Allah i will put my head in prostration and i will not get up from prostration till you take my soul from my body, Oh Allah just give me one chance and I will prove it to You qnd I will show you how good and Pious servant i am.
My young friend you can ask as many times as you want, no chance will be given to you.
My young friend you will be asked
عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:
"لَا تَزُولُ قَدَمَا عَبْدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ حَتَّى يُسْأَلَ عَنْ عُمُرِهِ فِيمَ أَفْنَاهُ، وَعَنْ شَبَابِهِ فِيمَ أَبْلَاهُ، وَعَنْ مَالِهِ مِنْ أَيْنَ اكْتَسَبَهُ وَفِيمَ أَنْفَقَهُ، وَعَنْ عِلْمِهِ مَاذَا عَمِلَ فِيهِ."
Translation:
"The feet of a servant will not move on the Day of Resurrection until he is asked about four things: about his lifespan—in what did he spend it, about his youth—in what did he wear it out, about his wealth—from where did he earn it and on what did he spend it, and about his knowledge—what did he do with it."
My Young friend, it doesn't come anymore simpler than this.
فكون من أبناء الآخرة ولا تكونوا من أبناء الدنيا
Willl you be from the sons of the dunya or will you be the sons of Akhira, you give preference to Allah and His Rasul.
So today, I will help you answer this question.
And today All i have come to do is to ask you one simple Question,
My young friend, will you be the sons of Dunya or Akhira ? What path will you choose?
In this gathering I want you to answer this question on your own accord
Let me help you today by giving you the consequences of the one that gives preference to this life over the Akhira the surprises that Allah Has prepared for him
Sayyiduna Uthman ibn Affan
R.A the third caliph of Islam
It was narrated in Sunan al-Tirmidhi
عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ إِذَا وَقَفَ عَلَى قَبْرٍ بَكَى حَتَّى يَبُلَّ لِحْيَتَهُ، فَقِيلَ لَهُ: تَذْكُرُ الْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ فَلَا تَبْكِي، وَتَبْكِي مِنْ هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "إِنَّ الْقَبْرَ أَوَّلُ مَنَازِلِ الْآخِرَةِ، فَإِنْ نَجَا مِنْهُ، فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَيْسَرُ مِنْهُ، وَإِنْ لَمْ يَنْجُ مِنْهُ، فَمَا بَعْدَهُ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ."
(رواه الترمذي)
when he would stand on the grave he would cry alot till his beard became wet.
But if he doesn't succeed at this stage when the angels Munkar and nakir have asked him, he will find hardship in the grave, judgement day, jahannam more and more difficult.
If you want to believe you believe if you dont want to believe then dont believe.
You wanna live a life winning and dining, you wanna live a life chilling and drilling then you do this, but remember that the last laugh will be with none other than the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi.
Because The prophet SAW
تَمُتُوْنَ كما تحيون وتُحْشِرُنَ كما تموتن كل عبدٍ يُبْعثُ على ما مات عليه.
You know if you have lived winning and dining and then you think in your little mind that at your point of death, you will utter the kalima Laila ha illa llah then you and I are living in cooku land.
Then in contrary to this someone who has lived worshipping Allah, Allah might honor him and he might die on Sujuud.
In an Authentic hadith
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: مَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى قَبْرَيْنِ، فَقَالَ:
"إِنَّهُمَا لَيُعَذَّبَانِ، وَمَا يُعَذَّبَانِ فِي كَبِيرٍ، أَمَّا أَحَدُهُمَا فَكَانَ لَا يَسْتَتِرُ مِنْ الْبَوْلِ، وَأَمَّا الْآخَرُ فَكَانَ يَمْشِي بِالنَّمِيمَةِ."
(رواه البخاري ومسلم)
Translation
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said:
"The Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by two graves and said:
'Indeed, they are being punished, and they are not being punished for a major sin (in their view). As for one of them, he was not careful to protect himself from his urine. As for the other, he used to walk about with slander (gossip).'"
Ibn Shabra ibn ra-abah ajjuhani was from amongst the awliyau llah of Basra he relates he says in sham [syria] I was present on one occasion at a time of death of a believer,
And he says then people were telling him to do Talkin, they were telling him to do the Qalimah lailaha illa llah.
Because the prophet SAW said
مَنْ كَانَ آخِرُ كَلَامِهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ
So this dying believer, they are encouraging him to say the Kalima.
My friend at a time of death, look what he tells the people.
• اشربوا واسقوني
He's telling all those around him, take alcohol, and give me a glass of wine to drink.
A man in the city of Ahwaz was a well-known moneylender and was completely engrossed in his business. When he was on his deathbed, a pious scholar or his family members gathered around him to help him say the Shahada, "La ilaha illallah" (There is no god but Allah).
Every time they would prompt him to say the words, he would begin muttering and counting with his fingers. They would say, "Say 'La ilaha illallah!'" and he would respond with a glazed look, counting: "5... 6... 7..."
You know what death comes merciless,
Don't think the angel will ring you and inform you that he's coming for you.
The great scholar Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti (رحمه الله) discusses the causes and signs of a bad ending (su' al-khatima) in his famous book, "Sharah al-Sudur fi Ahwal al-Mawta wa al-Qubur" (Explanation of the Chests Regarding the States of the Deceased and the Graves).
says there are 4 signs
• التَّكاسُلُ عَنِ الصّلاة
• Laziness with regards to prayer
• شرب الخمر
• Drinking alcohol
• عقوق الوالدين
• Disrespecting parents
• إيذاءُ المسلمين
• Hurting Muslims
• التَّكاسُلُ عَنِ الصّلاة
Who can say they have missed a single prayer since the time of puberty.
You know as well as I, this is the biggest obligation in Islam, open the books of Allah, how many times has Allah reminded you about swalah, every second page.
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْعَمَلِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:
"الصَّلَاةُ عَلَى وَقْتِهَا."
To read Swalah in its due time, this is the best deed that Allah loves most
شُرب الخمر
Taking Alcohol 🍸
You know we might not even take alcohol because from our young age, we were instilled not to take it, But tell me amongst the youth today who doesn't take a spliff.
And they dont even consider it haram.
عقوق الوالدين
Disrespecting mother and father, today alot of parents are crying, they have lost control over their children.
• The hadith which Al-Hafith Al-Mundhiri
has related in the book At-Targhib wa At-Tarhib on the authority of awaan bin Ali comes to mind, He says i went to a tribe there was a tonner this tribe and after asr this grave opened, a man came out of this grave his head was that of a donkey and his body was human, he hee hooed like a donkey.
This hadith was related infront of a masters of hadith, not one single master rejected it.
The next thing. إيذاءُ المسلمين
Troubling the believers. In whichever form it may be, whether its swearing at someone, whether its bulling someone, whether you've borrowed some money from someone and you are not paying back, whether its slandering, backbiting, this is a cause for a bad death.
The hadith of the prophet SAW
إِذَا خَلَصَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ مِنَ النَّارِ حُبِسُوا بِقَنْطَرَةٍ بَيْنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، فَيَتَقَاصُّونَ مَظَالِمَ كَانَتْ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا، حَتَّى إِذَا نُقُّوا وَهُذِّبُوا أُذِنَ لَهُمْ بِدُخُولِ الْجَنَّةِ، فَوَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِيَدِهِ لأَحَدُهُمْ بِمَسْكَنِهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ أَدَلُّ بِمَنْزِلِهِ كَانَ فِي الدُّنْيَا
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "When the believers pass safely over (the bridge across) Hell, they will be stopped at a bridge in between Hell and Paradise where they will retaliate upon each other for the injustices done among them in the world, and when they get purified of all their sins, they will be admitted into Paradise. By Him in Whose Hands the life of Muhammad is everybody will recognize his dwelling in Paradise better than he recognizes his dwelling in this world."
So when this dying disobedient person is dying Tamimi Aldaari R.A relates that Rasulullah SAW said that the Almighty Allah Says to the angel of death
*Oh Angel of Death,
انْطَلِقْ إِلَى عَدُوِّي فُلَانٍ، فَأْتِنِي بِهِ، فَإِنِّي قَدْ بَسَطْتُ لَهُ فِي الرِّزْقِ، وَسَرْبَلْتُهُ فِي نِعْمَتِي، فَأَبَى إِلَّا مَعْصِيَتِي
"Go to My enemy, and bring him to Me. For I extended his provision for him, and I clothed him in My blessings, yet he refused to acknowledge me, he refused to believe in me, he rejected my prophet."
Allah classes this individual as His enemy, what do you think Allah will do to those that He classes as His enemy.
This is not some ordinary fighter, you may find on the streets so that you fight one on one ,
You know we're talking about the Lord of the Lord of the Arsh and Kursi, we're talking about the Lord of the world's, Alhamdulillah rabbil Alamin, we're talking about the Lord of the entire universe and beyond.
You know we live in this Dunya, and we are fascinated with this dunya which Allah Subhanahu Wata-aala Has indeed created in a beautiful manner, we're over 8 billion people that live on this dunya at this moment in time
This Dunya of Allah Subhanahu Wata-aala is so big, my young friends, there is space in this dunya for billions and billions of more people.
Physically fitting (standing room only):
Up to about 500–600 trillion people could fit on all of Earth’s land if each person had just enough space to stand.
Realistically living (with food, water, homes, and resources):
Most scientific estimates suggest Earth can sustainably support somewhere between 2–15 billion people, depending on technology, consumption, and lifestyle choices.
This is just earth.
Between the heavens are 500 years, after this, you have the kursi of Allah.
And when Allah says to the Angel of death bring him to Me, i showerd him with blessings.
{ وَإِن تَعُدُّوا۟ نِعۡمَةَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَاۤۗ }
[Surah An-Naḥl: 18]
If you and I were to count the blessings of Allah, I swear by Allah our lives would come to an end but we won't be able to finish counting the blessings of Allah.
You have people in Palestine they are begging Allah, they dint even know where their next morsel will come from.
If you want conflex, you are in position to have it, if you want serial, you can actually have it.
On top of this, the hands with which we touch, the tounge with which we taste, the ears with which we hear, the eyes with which we see.
Look at this countless blessings of Allah,
You know in this very gathering, if you are to go blind. Think about it.
Then, when he dies, Allah will say to the Angel of death, go bring him to Me.
الْمَيِّتُ تَحْضُرُهُ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ فَإِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ صَالِحًا قَالُوا : اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الطَّيِّبَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الطَّيِّبِ اخْرُجِي حَمِيدَةً وَأَبْشِرِي بِرَوْحٍ وَرَيْحَانٍ وَرَبٍّ غَيْرِ غَضْبَانَ فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ ثُمَّ يُعْرَجُ بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَيُفْتَحُ لَهَا فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا فَيَقُولُونَ : فُلاَنٌ . فَيُقَالُ : مَرْحَبًا بِالنَّفْسِ الطَّيِّبَةِ، كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الطَّيِّبِ ادْخُلِي حَمِيدَةً، وَأَبْشِرِي بِرَوْحٍ وَرَيْحَانٍ وَرَبٍّ غَيْرِ غَضْبَانَ . فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى يُنْتَهَى بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الَّتِي فِيهَا اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَإِذَا كَانَ الرَّجُلُ السُّوءُ قَالَ اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْخَبِيثَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ اخْرُجِي ذَمِيمَةً وَأَبْشِرِي بِحَمِيمٍ وَغَسَّاقٍ . وَآخَرَ مِنْ شَكْلِهِ أَزْوَاجٌ . فَلاَ يَزَالُ يُقَالُ لَهَا ذَلِكَ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ ثُمَّ يُعْرَجُ بِهَا إِلَى السَّمَاءِ فَلاَ يُفْتَحُ لَهَا فَيُقَالُ : مَنْ هَذَا فَيُقَالُ : فُلاَنٌ . فَيُقَالُ : لاَ مَرْحَبًا بِالنَّفْسِ الْخَبِيثَةِ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ ارْجِعِي ذَمِيمَةً فَإِنَّهَا لاَ تُفْتَحُ لَكِ أَبْوَابُ السَّمَاءِ فَيُرْسَلُ بِهَا مِنَ السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ تَصِيرُ إِلَى الْقَبْرِ
The Soul of a Righteous Person
When a person is dying, angels attend to them. If the person was righteous, the angels say, "Come out, O pure soul, from the pure body. Come out praiseworthy, and receive good tidings of comfort, fragrance, and a Lord who is not angry." A fragrance like the finest musk on Earth emanates from it.
This is said to the soul until it departs.
Then, the soul is ascended to the heavens, and the gates are opened for it. It is asked, "Who is this?" and the angels with the soul reply, "So-and-so." Then it is said, "Welcome, O pure soul, from the pure body. Enter praiseworthy, and receive good tidings of comfort, fragrance, and a Lord who is not angry." This is repeated until the soul reaches the heaven where Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, is.
The Soul of a Wicked Person
On the other hand, if the person was wicked, the angels say, "Come out, O wicked soul, from the wicked body. Come out disgraced, and receive good tidings of boiling water and pus, and other things of a similar horrible nature." This is said to the soul until it departs.
Then the soul is ascended to the heavens, but the gates are not opened for it. It is asked, "Who is this?" and the angels with the soul reply, "So-and-so." Then it is said, "There is no welcome for the wicked soul from the wicked body. Return disgraced, for the gates of heaven will not be opened for you." The soul is then sent down from the heavens and returns to the grave.
A story of Ibrahim and the angel of death.
He told him, show me the form that you assume when you come to take the soul of a good believer
After showing him, he said if this was the only blessing that Allah had installed for a believer, just looking at the beauty of your face that Allah Has given you, that would be sufficient.
He turns back, what he sees, a man black face dark clothing, he's head black clothing, , his feet is on the earth, his body is covered with hair, under every hair, there are flames of fire which are leaping, flames of fire coming out his nose, flames of fire coming out of his mouth, he has in in hand and folk made up of fire, 500 angels accompanying him, all frightening to look at, and each one of them is carrying whips made up of fire.
• Like I said, you cant hide, even if you are in Survival Condos or the Oppidum, death will come to you.
My young friend this is how the angel of death will come for you, he will strike you with such force, with these forks made up of fire will penetrate, get stuck in, every limb, every bone, every joint and every joint.
Now he will twist and turn.
{ وَلَوۡ تَرَىٰۤ إِذۡ یَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ ٱلۡمَلَـٰۤىِٕكَةُ یَضۡرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمۡ وَأَدۡبَـٰرَهُمۡ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِیقِ }
[Surah Al-Anfāl: 50]
If only you [Prophet] could see, when the angels take the souls of the disbelievers, how they strike their faces and backs: it will be said, ‘Taste the punishment of the Fire.
Now my young friend, the angel of death will call out.
اخْرُجِي أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْخَبِيثَةُ كَانَتْ فِي الْجَسَدِ الْخَبِيثِ، اخْرُجِي إِلَى سَمُومٍ وَحَمِيمٍ، وَظِلٍّ مِنْ يَحْمُومٍ، لَا بَارِدٍ وَلَا كَرِيمٍ
Get out oh accursed soul, to a place of scorching wind, shadows of black smoke, no cool, not refreshing.
Look at the reality. The reality is set, my young friends, that your soul will want nothing to do with this body, and this body will want nothing to do with this soul, and they will both blame one another. The soul will say to the body,
جَزَاكَ اللَّهُ عَنِّي شَرًّا، فَقَدْ كُنْتَ سَرِيعًا إِلَى مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ، بَطِيئًا عَنْ طَاعَتِهِ، فَقَدْ هَلَكْتُ وَهَلَكْتَ
May Allah give you a bad reward. May Allah punish you. You were quick in disobeying the Almighty Allah. You were slow in obeying Him. Not only have you destroyed yourself, you have also destroyed me. Me, the soul, will be punished, and you, the body, will also be punished. The soul will curse the body, and the body will begin to curse the soul.
The earth on which you wronged Allah will also begin to curse you.
Oh Allah Millions of thanks to you that today, you have rid me of this man.
The army of Iblis throws a party that you know what, today we have sent 1 son of Adam to hell.
Now, the journey to the heavens will begin.
Everything they pass other angels, the angels will say
ما هذا روح الخبيث
فلان بن فلان بِأقْبِ أسماء الذي تسمى بهه في الدنيا
Now they reach heavens, then, the door of heaven will not be opened.
{ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔایَـٰتِنَا وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُوا۟ عَنۡهَا لَا تُفَتَّحُ لَهُمۡ أَبۡوَ ٰبُ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ وَلَا یَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ حَتَّىٰ یَلِجَ ٱلۡجَمَلُ فِی سَمِّ ٱلۡخِیَاطِۚ وَكَذَ ٰلِكَ نَجۡزِی ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِینَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 40]
“Indeed, those who deny Our signs and turn away from them in arrogance — the gates of heaven will never be opened for them, nor will they enter Paradise until the camel passes through the eye of a needle. And thus do We recompense the wicked.”
And Allah will call out, write the soul in the lowest hell, in the lowest earth. This is when the prophet read
{ حُنَفَاۤءَ لِلَّهِ غَیۡرَ مُشۡرِكِینَ بِهِۦۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا خَرَّ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَاۤءِ فَتَخۡطَفُهُ ٱلطَّیۡرُ أَوۡ تَهۡوِی بِهِ ٱلرِّیحُ فِی مَكَانࣲ سَحِیقࣲ }
[Surah Al-Ḥajj: 31]
Devote yourselves to God and assign Him no partners, for the person who does so is like someone who has been hurled down from the skies and snatched up by the birds or flung to a distant place by the wind.
Now, his spul will be returned inside his grave, the grave will say.
كُنْتَ لَأَبْغَضَ مَنْ يَمْشِي عَلَى ظَهْرِي إِلَيَّ
Out of all people that walked on me, you are the one I hated the most you are the one you the most
The grave will then embrace him with such force that the ribs of one side, they will penetrate into the other side.
And now, the angels Munkar Wa Nakir will come.
The prophet SAW on one occasion he was asked describe these angels so he said
أَبْصَارُهُمَا كَالْبَرْقِ الْخَاطِفِ، وَأَصْوَاتُهُمَا كَالرَّعْدِ الْقَاصِفِ، وَأَنْيَابُهُمَا كَالصِّيَاصِ، وَأَنْفَاسُهُمَا كَالْهَبُوبِ، يَطْعَنَانِ فِي أَشْعَارِهِمَا، بَيْنَ مَنْكِبَيْ كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا مَسِيرَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا كَانَ فِيهِمَا الرَّأْفَةُ وَالرَّحْمَةُ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ.
Their eyes, glitter like lightning, their voices, rumble like thunder, their teeth are like the teath of a bone, their hair reach their feet, the distance between their shoulders is miles apart, in these people, there is not even an ounce of Mercy in their hearts. Their mercy is only for true believers
مَا أَقُولُ لِوَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ مَا عَمُودٌ مِنْ حَدِيثٍ، لَوِ اجْتَمَعَ عَلَيْهِمْ مَنْ فِي الْأَرْضِ مَا حَرَّكُوهُ."
Each one of them will carry a hammer of steal. All those within the dunya if they were to get together just to pick one of these hammers, they won't be able to lift it.
So the angels will reproach him in such a manner that every bone in his body will begin to crack.
Thereafter, they will ask him the three questions,
مَن ربُّك
ما دينك
من هذا الرجل
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، - وَهَذَا لَفْظُ هَنَّادٍ - عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ، عَنْ زَاذَانَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، قَالَ : خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي جَنَازَةِ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ، فَانْتَهَيْنَا إِلَى الْقَبْرِ وَلَمَّا يُلْحَدْ، فَجَلَسَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَجَلَسْنَا حَوْلَهُ كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِنَا الطَّيْرُ، وَفِي يَدِهِ عُودٌ يَنْكُتُ بِهِ فِي الأَرْضِ، فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَقَالَ : " اسْتَعِيذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ " . مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلاَثًا - زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ هَا هُنَا - وَقَالَ : " وَإِنَّهُ لَيَسْمَعُ خَفْقَ نِعَالِهِمْ إِذَا وَلَّوْا مُدْبِرِينَ حِينَ يُقَالُ لَهُ : يَا هَذَا مَنْ رَبُّكَ وَمَا دِينُكَ وَمَنْ نَبِيُّكَ " . قَالَ هَنَّادٌ قَالَ : " وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ : رَبِّيَ اللَّهُ . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ : دِينِي الإِسْلاَمُ . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ قَالَ فَيَقُولُ : هُوَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم . فَيَقُولاَنِ : وَمَا يُدْرِيكَ فَيَقُولُ : قَرَأْتُ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ فَآمَنْتُ بِهِ وَصَدَّقْتُ " . زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ : " فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ { يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا } " . الآيَةَ . ثُمَّ اتَّفَقَا قَالَ : " فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ : أَنْ قَدْ صَدَقَ عَبْدِي فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ، وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى الْجَنَّةِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ : " فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ رَوْحِهَا وَطِيبِهَا " . قَالَ : " وَيُفْتَحُ لَهُ فِيهَا مَدَّ بَصَرِهِ " . قَالَ : " وَإِنَّ الْكَافِرَ " . فَذَكَرَ مَوْتَهُ قَالَ : " وَتُعَادُ رُوحُهُ فِي جَسَدِهِ وَيَأْتِيهِ مَلَكَانِ فَيُجْلِسَانِهِ فَيَقُولاَنِ : مَنْ رَبُّكَ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيَقُولاَنِ لَهُ : مَا دِينُكَ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيَقُولاَنِ : مَا هَذَا الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي بُعِثَ فِيكُمْ فَيَقُولُ : هَاهْ هَاهْ لاَ أَدْرِي . فَيُنَادِي مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ : أَنْ كَذَبَ فَأَفْرِشُوهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَأَلْبِسُوهُ مِنَ النَّارِ، وَافْتَحُوا لَهُ بَابًا إِلَى النَّارِ " . قَالَ : " فَيَأْتِيهِ مِنْ حَرِّهَا وَسَمُومِهَا " . قَالَ : " وَيُضَيَّقُ عَلَيْهِ قَبْرُهُ حَتَّى تَخْتَلِفَ فِيهِ أَضْلاَعُهُ " . زَادَ فِي حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ قَالَ : " ثُمَّ يُقَيَّضُ لَهُ أَعْمَى أَبْكَمُ مَعَهُ مِرْزَبَّةٌ مِنْ حَدِيدٍ، لَوْ ضُرِبَ بِهَا جَبَلٌ لَصَارَ تُرَابًا " . قَالَ : " فَيَضْرِبُهُ بِهَا ضَرْبَةً يَسْمَعُهَا مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ إِلاَّ الثَّقَلَيْنِ فَيَصِيرُ تُرَابًا " . قَالَ : " ثُمَّ تُعَادُ فِيهِ الرُّوحُ "
Sahih
Narrated Al-Bara' ibn Azib:
We went out with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) accompanying the bier of a man of the Ansar. When we reached his grave, it was not yet dug. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sat down and we also sat down around him as if birds were over our heads. He had in his hand a stick with which he was scratching the ground.
He then raised his head and said: Seek refuge with Allah from the punishment in the grave. He said it twice or thrice.
The version of Jabir adds here: He hears the beat of their sandals when they go back, and at that moment he is asked: O so and so! Who is your Lord, what is your religion, and who is your Prophet?
Hannad's version says: Two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your Lord?
He will reply: My Lord is Allah. They will ask him: What is your religion? He will reply: My religion is Islam. They will ask him: What is your opinion about the man who was sent on a mission among you? He will reply: He is the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). They will ask: Who made you aware of this? He will reply: I read Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true; which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah's Book, believed in it, and considered it true, which is verified by Allah's words: "Allah establishes those who believe with the word that stands firm in this world and the next."
The agreed version reads: Then a crier will call from Heaven: My servant has spoken the truth, so spread a bed for him from Paradise, clothe him from Paradise, and open a door for him into Paradise. So some of its air and perfume will come to him, and a space will be made for him as far as the eye can see.
He also mentioned the death of the infidel, saying: His spirit will be restored to his body, two angels will come to him, make him sit up and ask him: Who is your Lord?
