Description
Allah Azzah Wajallah said
{ إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا یَدۡعُوا۟ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِیَكُونُوا۟ مِنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِیرِ }
[Surah Fāṭir: 6]
Satan is your enemy––so treat him as an enemy––and invites his followers only to enter the blazing fire.
The only thing that interests him is that you burn in hell.
You didn't get it the first time, Allah says.
{ ۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ وَمَن یَتَّبِعۡ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ فَإِنَّهُۥ یَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡفَحۡشَاۤءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۚ وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَبَدࣰا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُزَكِّی مَن یَشَاۤءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمࣱ }
[Surah An-Nūr: 21]
Believers, do not follow in Satan’s footsteps- if you do so, he will urge you to indecency and evil. If it were not for God’s bounty and mercy towards you, not one of you would ever have attained purity. God purifies whoever He will: God is all hearing, all seeing.
{ وَمَن یَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ وَلِیࣰّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ خَسِرَ خُسۡرَانࣰا مُّبِینࣰا }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 119]
Whoever chooses Satan as a patron [or friend] instead of Allah is utterly ruined:
Oh Muslims
{ وَإِمَّا یَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ نَزۡغࣱ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 200]
If Satan should prompt you to do something, seek refuge with God- He is all hearing, all knowing-
Seek refuge in Allah make this dua
{ وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینِ }
[Surah Al-Muʾminūn: 97]
Oh Allah, I take refuge with You from the provocations, urgings, goadings, whispers of the Shaytwan;
{ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن یَحۡضُرُونِ }
I seek refuge with you, Lord, so that they may not come near me.’
Time after time, the Quran warns you and me about the shaytwan.
The day you were born, the shaytwan was there, similar, when you are dying, he will be there trying to take you.
Why do you think, every child who comes in this world comes crying,
(medical perspective):
Crying at birth is the sign that the baby’s lungs are working.
It helps the baby clear fluid from their lungs and start breathing air.
If a baby doesn’t cry, doctors usually try to stimulate them to cry, because it’s necessary for survival.
In a spiritual perspective,
he shows you how much he hates you, he introduce himself to you, he poks you he injures you.
Imam Ahmad Ibn Hambal sahib Musnad
Who know several hundred hadiths of the prophet SAW chain of narration along with the text hes on his death bed.
He's pointing fingers, his son tells him are you seeing something we cant see, who are you addressing?
Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal says to his beloved son "Oh my beloved son, the shaytwan is here right now in this gathering And its bitting its figures and its saying to me oh Ahmad, you have escaped me " He says no until my sould leaves my body.
This was Imām Ibn Ḥanbal (raḥimahullāh). Such was the calibre of this individual that he knew countless aḥādīth of Rasūlullāh ﷺ. He is the same scholar who said: “I acted upon every ḥadīth I was informed of.” For example, when he learned that Rasūlullāh ﷺ was treated by means of cupping and gave the cupper one dīnār, he too did the same.
Shaytwan and his army, whether its Khinzab, Walhan, Dāsim, Zalaynur 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they are working looking for every opportunity to lead you astray so that you burn 🔥 in the fire of hell.
Why would the devil say
{ قَالَ فَبِمَاۤ أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی لَأَقۡعُدَنَّ لَهُمۡ صِرَ ٰطَكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ (16) ثُمَّ لَـَٔاتِیَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَیۡنِ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ وَعَنۡ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ وَعَن شَمَاۤىِٕلِهِمۡۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ شَـٰكِرِینَ (17) }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 16-17]
Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lie in wait for them all on Your straight path: then
I will come at them- from their front and their back, from their right and their left- and You will find that most of them are ungrateful.’
{ وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ وَلَأُمَنِّیَنَّهُمۡ }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 119]
I will mislead them and incite vain desires in them;
{ قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی لَأُزَیِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِیَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِینَ }
[Surah Al-Ḥijr: 39]
Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lure mankind on earth and put them in the wrong,
The shaytwan is so decieving and hes so conning that our little minds cannot even imagine such deception, he's the master of trickery.
The story of Sayidina Muawiyah R.A
On one occasion, he doesn't wakeup for his tahajjud, the following night, he can feel as if someone is waking him up for tahjjud, he's shocked finding it was the shaytwan.
The shaytwan said "Indeed Muawiyah, Last night, I distracted you from tahajjud. But when you woke up, you cried, regretted, and felt deep sorrow. That regret itself earned you more reward than the tahajjud you normally pray. So tonight, I am waking you up myself so that you don’t get that extra reward again.”
The greatness master of Hadith, Ibn al Jawzi Rahimahu llah relates a beautiful narration in his talbis Iblis
"There was a man from amongst the banu Israel named Bursīṣā and this man was the most holiest man of his time, at the same time there were three brothers who had 1 sister, they wanted to elevate the kalima Laila illa llah they wanted to go for jihad for battle, but there was a need they wanted to keep their sister with someone, they couldn't trust anyone other than this Godly man, look after our sister, we will give you a share, we can trust our sister with you, he says to them leave your sister opposite this house my place of worship. He would cook, call her by name, open takes her meal and then she would go back and she would eat and this is how she would leave.
One day the shaytwan whispers "you trouble this girl, she has to come to your door everyday and collect food, whatif somebody was to see this, and realize this young beautiful girl stays alone in the house, they may take advantage of her, this goes against the objective asked why her brothers left her with you, start taking the food outside her door"
So time passes, he was defeated a sin was committed and a child was born, shaytwan comes to him saying "woe to you, what do you think her brothers will do to you, they'll humiliate you, they'll kill you, kill the child.
So he was given a death sentence and at the time of death shaytwan comes to him and says reject Allah.
{ كَمَثَلِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ إِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ ٱكۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّنكَ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ }
[Surah Al-Ḥashr: 16]
Like Satan, who says to man, ‘Do not believe!’ but when man disbelieves, says, ‘I disown you; I fear God, the Lord of the Worlds,’
Who hasn't heard of a man named Qarun
{ ۞ إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَاۤ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوۤأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُو۟لِی ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 76]
Qarun was one of Moses’ people, but he oppressed them. We had given him such treasures that even their keys would have weighed down a whole company of strong men. His people said to him, ‘Do not gloat, for God does not like people who gloat.
Qarun worshiped Allah for 40 years on a mountain without wronging Allah, he would fast by day and he would prostrate by night.
And Shaytwan approached Qarun to try to make him astray but they were not successful, so Iblis says to the little shayatween, leave it to me, I'll take care of it.
So Iblis comes to the very mountain and he joins Qarun In worship. But the way Iblis would worship his simplicity, hus humbleness, the way he would begin Allah, he made Qarun look small.
So Qarun begun to respect Iblis, he talks to Qarun and says Are you happy with this life ? We never interrupt with people, eg of somebody dies, well we will be able to make their janazah when they die.
One day, Shaytwan says to Qarun, are you happy with this life that we live ? We are a burden to the people, we dont work for our daily bread, there is no dignity in this there is no honor in this.
So shaytwan says let's Worship Allah for 6 days and only for 1 day well work, and whatever we work for 1 day, we will use it for the full work.
Time passes by, Shaytwan says to Qarun we worship Allah but we never give any swadaqah, we never dig wells, we never help the needy because we only work and get only that that suffies us.
Now they started working one day, and worshipping the other day, As soon as Qarun started receiving the dunya he forgot about the Akhirah.
أبي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رضي الله عنه أن النبي ﷺ قال:
«إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضْرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا، فَيَنظُرُ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ، فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ، فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ فِي النِّسَاءِ»
(رواه مسلم)
“The world is sweet and green (alluring), and indeed Allah is appointing you as successors (vicegerents) in it. He observes how you behave. So fear this world, and fear women, for verily the first trial among the Children of Israel was through women.”
عَنْ أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
«لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ، وَلَنْ يَمْلَأَ فَاهُ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ»
(رواه البخاري [6439] ومسلم [1048])
“If the son of Ādam had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys. Nothing fills his mouth except dust (the grave), yet Allah forgives whoever repents.”
When you get a few dollars, you become proud, you start walking big.
My friend this guy was so rich, that Allah said
{ ۞ إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَاۤ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوۤأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُو۟لِی ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 76]
We had given him such treasures that even their keys would have weighed down a whole company of strong men. His people said to him, ‘Do not gloat, for God does not like people who gloat.
> قَالَ قَرُونُ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عِندِي ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ ٱلۡبَأۡسُ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِاللَّهِ عَالِمًا
“Indeed, I was given this only because of knowledge I possess.”
Just like some rich people now, when Allah made Zakah compulsory upon Banu Israel, he refused to pay.
This is exactly how Shayṭān operates even today. He scares people from spending in the way of Allah by whispering poverty into their hearts, while pushing them toward every kind of evil and indecency.
Allah exposes this exact trick in the Qur’an:
{ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلۡفَقۡرَ وَيَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغۡفِرَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٗاۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ }
[Surah Al-Baqarah: 268]
“Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”
Look how precise Allah is: Shayṭān doesn’t just say “don’t give charity” — he threatens you with poverty, makes you terrified of becoming poor, and at the same time commands you toward fahshā’ (every kind of shameless sin). But Allah promises the opposite: forgiveness and boundless provision.
Onto of this he accuses hazrat Musa A.S of Adultery.
As soon as he did this
{ فَخَسَفۡنَا بِهِۦ وَبِدَارِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ مِن فِئَةࣲ یَنصُرُونَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنتَصِرِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 81]
We caused the earth to swallow him and his home: he had no one to help him against God, nor could he defend himself.
If Shaytwan took Qarun down then what about you and me.
Similarly shaytwan himself was also a believer and he disobeys later on when he was.told bow down he says
{ قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَیۡرࣱ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِی مِن نَّارࣲ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِینࣲ قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِیمࣱ }
So after this, remember Allah had told Adam and eve not to go under a certain tree, so the devil whispers to them.
{ فَوَسۡوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لِیُبۡدِیَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِیَ عَنۡهُمَا مِن سَوۡءَ ٰ تِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَیۡنِ أَوۡ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰلِدِینَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 20]
Satan whispered to them so as to expose their nakedness, which had been hidden from them: he said, ‘Your Lord only forbade you this tree to prevent you becoming angels or immortals,’
So they were all cast out of Paradise.
Six different stages the Shaytwan attacks the believer
Stage number 1 مَرْتبتُ الكُفُر he's primary objective is to make you and 1 kafir.
{ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَغۡفِرُ أَن یُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَیَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَ ٰلِكَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰۤ إِثۡمًا عَظِیمًا }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 48]
Allah does not forgive the joining of partners with Him: anything less than that He forgives to whoever He will, but anyone who joins partners with God has concocted a tremendous sin.
Allah says
{ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارࣱ فَلَن یُقۡبَلَ مِنۡ أَحَدِهِم مِّلۡءُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَهَبࣰا وَلَوِ ٱفۡتَدَىٰ بِهِۦۤۗ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 91]
those who disbelieve and die disbelievers will not be saved even if they offer enough gold as ransom to fill the entire earth. Agonizing torment is in store for them, and there will be no one to help them.
Any other sin other than Kufur and Shirk, Allah will forgive
Iman is your greatest gift, you will never get any greater thing than this. You know in today's session if you just remember how important this gift of Iman is i believe that I would have succeeded in my mission.
On one occasion Sayyidina Musa A.S asked Allah oh Allah give me a dhikir I can remember you with.
"Oh Musa, say Lailaha Illah llah,"
"Oh Musa, if the seven heavens were placed in one pan of the balance and the Qalimah is placed in the other hand of Iman it would outweigh"
This is the iman that Allah Has given you and I. And event though its permissible to utter kufr when you are being persecuted. He puts his sword on your neck and hes in the position to take of your head and hes forcing you to say you disbelieve.
Even in this condition listen to the Nasiha that the prophet SAW gave to Muath R.A
«يا معاذ، لا تُشْرِكْ بالله وإن قُتِلْتَ أو حُرِّقْتَ»
Oh Muath even if someone threatens to kill you or burn you alive, do not associate partners with Allah.
Its far greater to give your life up than to utter kufr.
“The Limits of Reason and the Authority of Revelation.
Every law of Allah and His rasul doesn't go against Aql (aql salim) but the din of Allah doesn't run on Aql it runs on Naql it runs on revelations. We believe everything Allah and His rasul have said, whether we comprehend it or whether we dont comprehend it.
Revelation (Qur’an and Sunnah) provides details and certainty.
Acts of worship (ʿibādāt) in particular are taʿabbudī — meaning they are followed purely out of submission, even if the wisdom isn’t clear.
Example: wiping over khuff (socks) in wuḍū’.
Intellect (ʿaql) might say: “Why not wipe the bottom, that’s what touches the ground?”
But the Prophet ﷺ instructed wiping the upper part (Sahih Muslim 274, Sahih Bukhari 206).
So we accept as is, because it is from Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Shayṭān’s trick is to whisper: “This doesn’t make sense to you, so it can’t be right.”
If we give our limited ʿaql authority over clear naql, we risk rejecting parts of dīn.
True faith means: we use ʿaql to understand, reflect, and appreciate — but we submit to naql even when our reason doesn’t grasp everything.
We cant see Allah it doesn't mean he doesn't exist, we believe in love, but can you really see it.
You cant see thoughts, you can you see wind ? Oxygen.
Why cant we see Allah in the Dunya ?
1. Because Allah Hasn't given us the body and the eyes to see Allah. Astronauts go to space, they wear suits.
2. Reason, it goes against the objective asked why Allah created you and me.
Who will have iman without seeing Allah ?
{ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ لِیَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَیُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلࣰاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ }
[Surah Al-Mulk: 2]
who created death and life to test you [people] and reveal which of you does best––He is the Mighty, the Forgiving;
Forexample, the people of Swaleh said to prophet Swaleh, "Oh Swaleh, from this mountain, we want a she camel, 10 months pregnant" Allah did just this exactly a she camel which looked like how they described.
If you really want to realize the existence of Allah, read the Quran, for over 1400 years, nothing has been added or subtracted.
Allah gave them a challenge, these people were so good in Arabic, they could write stories that could read both ways from up to down and from down to up.
Don't you think these people rose up to the challenge, indeed they did some of them tried to challenge the Quran and you know what their hands became paralyzed some of them the most they would do is copy Alqariah they came up with nonsense like this
ٱلْفِيلُ. وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا ٱلْفِيلُ. لَهُ ذَنَبٌ وَبِيلٌ، وَخُرْطُومٌ طَوِيلٌ.
Translation
> The Elephant. And what will make you know what the Elephant is? It has a short tail and a long trunk.
Look at the scientific facts of the Quran.
{ ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَـٰمࣰا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَـٰمَ لَحۡمࣰا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَـٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقِینَ }
[Surah Al-Muʾminūn: 14]
then We made that drop into a clinging form, and We made that form into a lump of flesh, and We made that lump into bones, and We clothed those bones with flesh, and later We made him into other forms––glory be to God, the best of creators!––
Allah knee there are some big headed people who will say show us from the Quran. 😅
{ وَٱلۡجِبَالَ أَوۡتَادࣰا }
[Surah An-Nabaʾ: 7]
and make the mountains to keep it stable?
All these things show Allah exists.
The Cosmological Urgument.
They say, whatever begins to exist has a cause, this universe begun to exist so it had a cause.
There are 4 scenarios.
1. It came from nothing without a cause, thats impossible from nothing you cant get anything so it cant be. They also said that it came as a result of a big bang.
{أَوَلَمۡ یَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ كَانَتَا رَتۡقࣰا فَفَتَقۡنَـٰهُمَاۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَاۤءِ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ حَیٍّۚ أَفَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ }
[Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ: 30]
Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and the earth used to be joined together and that We ripped them apart, that We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe?
Earth spins once every ~24 hours on its axis.
The axis isn’t perfectly upright — it’s tilted.
That tilt of ~23.5°
Look at the distance of earth to the sun
At closest approach (perihelion) it’s about 147.1 million km (≈ 91.4 million miles).
At farthest (aphelion) it’s about 152.1 million km (≈ 94.5 million miles).
There was once an atheist in (or near) Baghdad who publicly challenged the people: he didn’t believe in God, and he demanded the best Muslim debater to come argue with him.
2. The people chose Imam Abu Hanīfa as their best debater.
3. A time was set, and a messenger left to summon Abu Hanīfa. When the time came, Abu Hanīfa had not yet arrived. As hours passed, the atheist mocked the Muslims, saying that Abu Hanīfa was too scared to come.
4. Finally Abu Hanīfa arrived. He was asked why he was so late. His explanation: he needed to cross the River Tigris, but there was no boat, no ferryman, no sailor.
5. While waiting at the riverbank, suddenly planks of wood (or boards) emerged from the river (from the riverbed), joined themselves into a shape of a boat; nails came up and fixed the boards together (without being hammered); a sealant appeared and sealed the gaps; a sail came into being; the boat then moved by itself toward Abu Hanīfa, invited him aboard, carried him across the river—no pilot, no navigator. At the far bank, he disembarked, and the boat disappeared.
6. When questioned by the atheist, Abu Hanīfa used it as an analogy:
If you cannot believe that a simple boat could come into being by itself without a maker,
How then can you believe that the entire universe came into being by itself without a Creator?
Moving on to scenario number 2. It created itself
Can your mother give birth to her self?
Scenario number 3. It was created by something else created
Scenario number 4 it was created by something uncreated
Oh Muslims, if Shaytan fails in his first stage—making you a kafir, stripping you of this priceless gift of iman that outweighs the seven heavens—praise be to Allah, he doesn't give up. He descends to the next levels, step by step, like a predator circling its prey, always whispering, always plotting, as he vowed in Surah Al-A'raf (7:16-17).
Stage 2: Bid'ah (Religious Innovation)
If kufr doesn't touch you, Shaytan whispers innovations into your worship—practices that look pious but twist the pure deen of Muhammad ﷺ. He makes you chase "good deeds" not found in Quran or Sunnah, like adding extra rituals to salah or celebrating un-Islamic festivals, thinking you're closer to Allah. But bid'ah corrupts the foundation, as the Prophet ﷺ said: "Every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance leads to the Fire" (Sahih Muslim 867). It deceives by inflating your ego—you feel holy, but you're building on sand. Seek the authentic: stick to the Book and the Sunnah, and run from anything that smells of novelty.
Stage 3: Major Sins (Kaba'ir)
Failing here, he pushes you toward the big sins that shatter your heart—zina, riba, alcohol, backbiting on a grand scale, or abandoning the five pillars. These are the gates to Hell, wide open if unrepented. Allah warns in Surah An-Nur (24:21) of following his footsteps into indecency and evil. Shaytan beautifies them: "Just once, it'll feel good—no one will know." But one slip leads to chains, as in the hadith: "The eyes commit zina, the hands commit zina..." (Sahih Bukhari 6612). Guard your gates—lower your gaze, fast, and make istighfar before the sin knocks.
Stage 4: Minor Sins (Sagha'ir)
If the majors repel you, he scatters small sins like dust—white lies, wasting time on haram glances, delaying salah by minutes, or harsh words in jest. These seem harmless, but they pile up, blackening the heart like drops filling a vessel. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Beware of the small sins, for they gather like a people camping in an open land" (Tirmidhi 2673). Shaytan's trick: "It's nothing, Allah is Forgiving." But neglect breeds laziness, and soon the heart hardens. Cleanse daily with wudu, Quran recitation, and sincere tawbah—don't let pebbles become a mountain.
Stage 5: Permissible Acts That Waste Time (Mubah without Barakah)
Now he shifts to the neutral—halal but hollow: endless scrolling, chit-chat, or hobbies that eat your hours without benefit. No sin, but no dhikr, no family time, no seeking knowledge. It's the slow poison, as time is your currency for the Akhirah. Allah says in Surah Al-Asr (103:1-3): "By time, man is in loss—except those who believe, do righteous deeds, enjoin truth, and enjoin patience." Shaytan whispers: "Relax, you deserve it after a long day." But the grave will ask: "What did you do?" Prioritize: audit your day, cut the excess, fill with what pleases Allah.
Stage 6: Good Deeds, But the Lesser Over the Greater
His final, subtlest trap: He lets you do amal, but diverts to the optional over the fard—nafl prayers instead of perfecting fard, small sadaqah over jihad of the soul, or worldly success over true taqwa. You feel productive, but rewards are capped. As in the hadith: "The first thing a servant will be asked about is salah—if it's sound, the rest follows" (Tirmidhi 413). Shaytan says: "Good enough, why strive more?" But Allah loves the muhsinun who perfect the obligatory first. Aim high: quality over quantity, ikhlas in every act.
Brothers and sisters, these stages aren't theory—they're Shaytan's playbook, patient and precise. From birth's cry to deathbed's whisper, he's relentless, but Allah's mercy is greater. Seek refuge as in Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:97-98): "A'udhu bika rabbi min hamazat ash-shayatin... wa a'udhu bika rabbi an yahdurun." Recite Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Falaq, and An-Nas thrice morning and evening. Surround yourself with righteous company, and remember Imam Ahmad's stand: Even at death, Shaytan bites his fingers in defeat if you die upon iman.
As for the sources of Sheikh Ahmed Ali's lecture, it's rooted in classical Islamic texts, primarily Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyyah's Ighathat al-Lahfan min Masayid ash-Shaytan (Aid for the Distressed from the Traps of Satan
{ إِنَّ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ لَكُمۡ عَدُوࣱّ فَٱتَّخِذُوهُ عَدُوًّاۚ إِنَّمَا یَدۡعُوا۟ حِزۡبَهُۥ لِیَكُونُوا۟ مِنۡ أَصۡحَـٰبِ ٱلسَّعِیرِ }
[Surah Fāṭir: 6]
Satan is your enemy––so treat him as an enemy––and invites his followers only to enter the blazing fire.
The only thing that interests him is that you burn in hell.
You didn't get it the first time, Allah says.
{ ۞ یَـٰۤأَیُّهَا ٱلَّذِینَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَتَّبِعُوا۟ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِۚ وَمَن یَتَّبِعۡ خُطُوَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ فَإِنَّهُۥ یَأۡمُرُ بِٱلۡفَحۡشَاۤءِ وَٱلۡمُنكَرِۚ وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَیۡكُمۡ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ مَا زَكَىٰ مِنكُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَبَدࣰا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ یُزَكِّی مَن یَشَاۤءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمࣱ }
[Surah An-Nūr: 21]
Believers, do not follow in Satan’s footsteps- if you do so, he will urge you to indecency and evil. If it were not for God’s bounty and mercy towards you, not one of you would ever have attained purity. God purifies whoever He will: God is all hearing, all seeing.
{ وَمَن یَتَّخِذِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنَ وَلِیࣰّا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ خَسِرَ خُسۡرَانࣰا مُّبِینࣰا }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 119]
Whoever chooses Satan as a patron [or friend] instead of Allah is utterly ruined:
Oh Muslims
{ وَإِمَّا یَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ نَزۡغࣱ فَٱسۡتَعِذۡ بِٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ سَمِیعٌ عَلِیمٌ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 200]
If Satan should prompt you to do something, seek refuge with God- He is all hearing, all knowing-
Seek refuge in Allah make this dua
{ وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنۡ هَمَزَ ٰتِ ٱلشَّیَـٰطِینِ }
[Surah Al-Muʾminūn: 97]
Oh Allah, I take refuge with You from the provocations, urgings, goadings, whispers of the Shaytwan;
{ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن یَحۡضُرُونِ }
I seek refuge with you, Lord, so that they may not come near me.’
Time after time, the Quran warns you and me about the shaytwan.
The day you were born, the shaytwan was there, similar, when you are dying, he will be there trying to take you.
Why do you think, every child who comes in this world comes crying,
(medical perspective):
Crying at birth is the sign that the baby’s lungs are working.
It helps the baby clear fluid from their lungs and start breathing air.
If a baby doesn’t cry, doctors usually try to stimulate them to cry, because it’s necessary for survival.
In a spiritual perspective,
he shows you how much he hates you, he introduce himself to you, he poks you he injures you.
Imam Ahmad Ibn Hambal sahib Musnad
Who know several hundred hadiths of the prophet SAW chain of narration along with the text hes on his death bed.
He's pointing fingers, his son tells him are you seeing something we cant see, who are you addressing?
Imam Ahmad ibn Hambal says to his beloved son "Oh my beloved son, the shaytwan is here right now in this gathering And its bitting its figures and its saying to me oh Ahmad, you have escaped me " He says no until my sould leaves my body.
This was Imām Ibn Ḥanbal (raḥimahullāh). Such was the calibre of this individual that he knew countless aḥādīth of Rasūlullāh ﷺ. He is the same scholar who said: “I acted upon every ḥadīth I was informed of.” For example, when he learned that Rasūlullāh ﷺ was treated by means of cupping and gave the cupper one dīnār, he too did the same.
Shaytwan and his army, whether its Khinzab, Walhan, Dāsim, Zalaynur 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, they are working looking for every opportunity to lead you astray so that you burn 🔥 in the fire of hell.
Why would the devil say
{ قَالَ فَبِمَاۤ أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی لَأَقۡعُدَنَّ لَهُمۡ صِرَ ٰطَكَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِیمَ (16) ثُمَّ لَـَٔاتِیَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَیۡنِ أَیۡدِیهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ وَعَنۡ أَیۡمَـٰنِهِمۡ وَعَن شَمَاۤىِٕلِهِمۡۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ شَـٰكِرِینَ (17) }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 16-17]
Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lie in wait for them all on Your straight path: then
I will come at them- from their front and their back, from their right and their left- and You will find that most of them are ungrateful.’
{ وَلَأُضِلَّنَّهُمۡ وَلَأُمَنِّیَنَّهُمۡ }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 119]
I will mislead them and incite vain desires in them;
{ قَالَ رَبِّ بِمَاۤ أَغۡوَیۡتَنِی لَأُزَیِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَلَأُغۡوِیَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِینَ }
[Surah Al-Ḥijr: 39]
Because You have put me in the wrong, I will lure mankind on earth and put them in the wrong,
The shaytwan is so decieving and hes so conning that our little minds cannot even imagine such deception, he's the master of trickery.
The story of Sayidina Muawiyah R.A
On one occasion, he doesn't wakeup for his tahajjud, the following night, he can feel as if someone is waking him up for tahjjud, he's shocked finding it was the shaytwan.
The shaytwan said "Indeed Muawiyah, Last night, I distracted you from tahajjud. But when you woke up, you cried, regretted, and felt deep sorrow. That regret itself earned you more reward than the tahajjud you normally pray. So tonight, I am waking you up myself so that you don’t get that extra reward again.”
The greatness master of Hadith, Ibn al Jawzi Rahimahu llah relates a beautiful narration in his talbis Iblis
"There was a man from amongst the banu Israel named Bursīṣā and this man was the most holiest man of his time, at the same time there were three brothers who had 1 sister, they wanted to elevate the kalima Laila illa llah they wanted to go for jihad for battle, but there was a need they wanted to keep their sister with someone, they couldn't trust anyone other than this Godly man, look after our sister, we will give you a share, we can trust our sister with you, he says to them leave your sister opposite this house my place of worship. He would cook, call her by name, open takes her meal and then she would go back and she would eat and this is how she would leave.
One day the shaytwan whispers "you trouble this girl, she has to come to your door everyday and collect food, whatif somebody was to see this, and realize this young beautiful girl stays alone in the house, they may take advantage of her, this goes against the objective asked why her brothers left her with you, start taking the food outside her door"
So time passes, he was defeated a sin was committed and a child was born, shaytwan comes to him saying "woe to you, what do you think her brothers will do to you, they'll humiliate you, they'll kill you, kill the child.
So he was given a death sentence and at the time of death shaytwan comes to him and says reject Allah.
{ كَمَثَلِ ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنِ إِذۡ قَالَ لِلۡإِنسَـٰنِ ٱكۡفُرۡ فَلَمَّا كَفَرَ قَالَ إِنِّی بَرِیۤءࣱ مِّنكَ إِنِّیۤ أَخَافُ ٱللَّهَ رَبَّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِینَ }
[Surah Al-Ḥashr: 16]
Like Satan, who says to man, ‘Do not believe!’ but when man disbelieves, says, ‘I disown you; I fear God, the Lord of the Worlds,’
Who hasn't heard of a man named Qarun
{ ۞ إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَاۤ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوۤأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُو۟لِی ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 76]
Qarun was one of Moses’ people, but he oppressed them. We had given him such treasures that even their keys would have weighed down a whole company of strong men. His people said to him, ‘Do not gloat, for God does not like people who gloat.
Qarun worshiped Allah for 40 years on a mountain without wronging Allah, he would fast by day and he would prostrate by night.
And Shaytwan approached Qarun to try to make him astray but they were not successful, so Iblis says to the little shayatween, leave it to me, I'll take care of it.
So Iblis comes to the very mountain and he joins Qarun In worship. But the way Iblis would worship his simplicity, hus humbleness, the way he would begin Allah, he made Qarun look small.
So Qarun begun to respect Iblis, he talks to Qarun and says Are you happy with this life ? We never interrupt with people, eg of somebody dies, well we will be able to make their janazah when they die.
One day, Shaytwan says to Qarun, are you happy with this life that we live ? We are a burden to the people, we dont work for our daily bread, there is no dignity in this there is no honor in this.
So shaytwan says let's Worship Allah for 6 days and only for 1 day well work, and whatever we work for 1 day, we will use it for the full work.
Time passes by, Shaytwan says to Qarun we worship Allah but we never give any swadaqah, we never dig wells, we never help the needy because we only work and get only that that suffies us.
Now they started working one day, and worshipping the other day, As soon as Qarun started receiving the dunya he forgot about the Akhirah.
أبي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رضي الله عنه أن النبي ﷺ قال:
«إِنَّ الدُّنْيَا حُلْوَةٌ خَضْرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ مُسْتَخْلِفُكُمْ فِيهَا، فَيَنظُرُ كَيْفَ تَعْمَلُونَ، فَاتَّقُوا الدُّنْيَا وَاتَّقُوا النِّسَاءَ، فَإِنَّ أَوَّلَ فِتْنَةِ بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ كَانَتْ فِي النِّسَاءِ»
(رواه مسلم)
“The world is sweet and green (alluring), and indeed Allah is appointing you as successors (vicegerents) in it. He observes how you behave. So fear this world, and fear women, for verily the first trial among the Children of Israel was through women.”
عَنْ أَنَسٍ رضي الله عنه عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ:
«لَوْ أَنَّ لِابْنِ آدَمَ وَادِيًا مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ وَادِيَانِ، وَلَنْ يَمْلَأَ فَاهُ إِلَّا التُّرَابُ، وَيَتُوبُ اللَّهُ عَلَى مَنْ تَابَ»
(رواه البخاري [6439] ومسلم [1048])
“If the son of Ādam had a valley full of gold, he would like to have two valleys. Nothing fills his mouth except dust (the grave), yet Allah forgives whoever repents.”
When you get a few dollars, you become proud, you start walking big.
My friend this guy was so rich, that Allah said
{ ۞ إِنَّ قَـٰرُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوۡمِ مُوسَىٰ فَبَغَىٰ عَلَیۡهِمۡۖ وَءَاتَیۡنَـٰهُ مِنَ ٱلۡكُنُوزِ مَاۤ إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُۥ لَتَنُوۤأُ بِٱلۡعُصۡبَةِ أُو۟لِی ٱلۡقُوَّةِ إِذۡ قَالَ لَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ لَا تَفۡرَحۡۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یُحِبُّ ٱلۡفَرِحِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 76]
We had given him such treasures that even their keys would have weighed down a whole company of strong men. His people said to him, ‘Do not gloat, for God does not like people who gloat.
> قَالَ قَرُونُ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَىٰ عِلْمٍ عِندِي ۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِيَ ٱلۡبَأۡسُ أَلَّا أَكُونَ بِاللَّهِ عَالِمًا
“Indeed, I was given this only because of knowledge I possess.”
Just like some rich people now, when Allah made Zakah compulsory upon Banu Israel, he refused to pay.
This is exactly how Shayṭān operates even today. He scares people from spending in the way of Allah by whispering poverty into their hearts, while pushing them toward every kind of evil and indecency.
Allah exposes this exact trick in the Qur’an:
{ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ يَعِدُكُمُ ٱلۡفَقۡرَ وَيَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلۡفَحۡشَآءِۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَعِدُكُم مَّغۡفِرَةٗ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلٗاۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ }
[Surah Al-Baqarah: 268]
“Satan threatens you with poverty and orders you to immorality, while Allah promises you forgiveness from Him and bounty. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.”
Look how precise Allah is: Shayṭān doesn’t just say “don’t give charity” — he threatens you with poverty, makes you terrified of becoming poor, and at the same time commands you toward fahshā’ (every kind of shameless sin). But Allah promises the opposite: forgiveness and boundless provision.
Onto of this he accuses hazrat Musa A.S of Adultery.
As soon as he did this
{ فَخَسَفۡنَا بِهِۦ وَبِدَارِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ فَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ مِن فِئَةࣲ یَنصُرُونَهُۥ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُنتَصِرِینَ }
[Surah Al-Qaṣaṣ: 81]
We caused the earth to swallow him and his home: he had no one to help him against God, nor could he defend himself.
If Shaytwan took Qarun down then what about you and me.
Similarly shaytwan himself was also a believer and he disobeys later on when he was.told bow down he says
{ قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَیۡرࣱ مِّنۡهُ خَلَقۡتَنِی مِن نَّارࣲ وَخَلَقۡتَهُۥ مِن طِینࣲ قَالَ فَٱخۡرُجۡ مِنۡهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِیمࣱ }
So after this, remember Allah had told Adam and eve not to go under a certain tree, so the devil whispers to them.
{ فَوَسۡوَسَ لَهُمَا ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ لِیُبۡدِیَ لَهُمَا مَا وُۥرِیَ عَنۡهُمَا مِن سَوۡءَ ٰ تِهِمَا وَقَالَ مَا نَهَىٰكُمَا رَبُّكُمَا عَنۡ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةِ إِلَّاۤ أَن تَكُونَا مَلَكَیۡنِ أَوۡ تَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰلِدِینَ }
[Surah Al-Aʿrāf: 20]
Satan whispered to them so as to expose their nakedness, which had been hidden from them: he said, ‘Your Lord only forbade you this tree to prevent you becoming angels or immortals,’
So they were all cast out of Paradise.
Six different stages the Shaytwan attacks the believer
Stage number 1 مَرْتبتُ الكُفُر he's primary objective is to make you and 1 kafir.
{ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا یَغۡفِرُ أَن یُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَیَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَ ٰلِكَ لِمَن یَشَاۤءُۚ وَمَن یُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدِ ٱفۡتَرَىٰۤ إِثۡمًا عَظِیمًا }
[Surah An-Nisāʾ: 48]
Allah does not forgive the joining of partners with Him: anything less than that He forgives to whoever He will, but anyone who joins partners with God has concocted a tremendous sin.
Allah says
{ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمۡ كُفَّارࣱ فَلَن یُقۡبَلَ مِنۡ أَحَدِهِم مِّلۡءُ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ذَهَبࣰا وَلَوِ ٱفۡتَدَىٰ بِهِۦۤۗ أُو۟لَـٰۤىِٕكَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّـٰصِرِینَ }
[Surah Āli-ʿImrān: 91]
those who disbelieve and die disbelievers will not be saved even if they offer enough gold as ransom to fill the entire earth. Agonizing torment is in store for them, and there will be no one to help them.
Any other sin other than Kufur and Shirk, Allah will forgive
Iman is your greatest gift, you will never get any greater thing than this. You know in today's session if you just remember how important this gift of Iman is i believe that I would have succeeded in my mission.
On one occasion Sayyidina Musa A.S asked Allah oh Allah give me a dhikir I can remember you with.
"Oh Musa, say Lailaha Illah llah,"
"Oh Musa, if the seven heavens were placed in one pan of the balance and the Qalimah is placed in the other hand of Iman it would outweigh"
This is the iman that Allah Has given you and I. And event though its permissible to utter kufr when you are being persecuted. He puts his sword on your neck and hes in the position to take of your head and hes forcing you to say you disbelieve.
Even in this condition listen to the Nasiha that the prophet SAW gave to Muath R.A
«يا معاذ، لا تُشْرِكْ بالله وإن قُتِلْتَ أو حُرِّقْتَ»
Oh Muath even if someone threatens to kill you or burn you alive, do not associate partners with Allah.
Its far greater to give your life up than to utter kufr.
“The Limits of Reason and the Authority of Revelation.
Every law of Allah and His rasul doesn't go against Aql (aql salim) but the din of Allah doesn't run on Aql it runs on Naql it runs on revelations. We believe everything Allah and His rasul have said, whether we comprehend it or whether we dont comprehend it.
Revelation (Qur’an and Sunnah) provides details and certainty.
Acts of worship (ʿibādāt) in particular are taʿabbudī — meaning they are followed purely out of submission, even if the wisdom isn’t clear.
Example: wiping over khuff (socks) in wuḍū’.
Intellect (ʿaql) might say: “Why not wipe the bottom, that’s what touches the ground?”
But the Prophet ﷺ instructed wiping the upper part (Sahih Muslim 274, Sahih Bukhari 206).
So we accept as is, because it is from Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.
Shayṭān’s trick is to whisper: “This doesn’t make sense to you, so it can’t be right.”
If we give our limited ʿaql authority over clear naql, we risk rejecting parts of dīn.
True faith means: we use ʿaql to understand, reflect, and appreciate — but we submit to naql even when our reason doesn’t grasp everything.
We cant see Allah it doesn't mean he doesn't exist, we believe in love, but can you really see it.

Why cant we see Allah in the Dunya ?
1. Because Allah Hasn't given us the body and the eyes to see Allah. Astronauts go to space, they wear suits.
2. Reason, it goes against the objective asked why Allah created you and me.
Who will have iman without seeing Allah ?
{ ٱلَّذِی خَلَقَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ وَٱلۡحَیَوٰةَ لِیَبۡلُوَكُمۡ أَیُّكُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ عَمَلࣰاۚ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِیزُ ٱلۡغَفُورُ }
[Surah Al-Mulk: 2]
who created death and life to test you [people] and reveal which of you does best––He is the Mighty, the Forgiving;
Forexample, the people of Swaleh said to prophet Swaleh, "Oh Swaleh, from this mountain, we want a she camel, 10 months pregnant" Allah did just this exactly a she camel which looked like how they described.
If you really want to realize the existence of Allah, read the Quran, for over 1400 years, nothing has been added or subtracted.
Allah gave them a challenge, these people were so good in Arabic, they could write stories that could read both ways from up to down and from down to up.
Don't you think these people rose up to the challenge, indeed they did some of them tried to challenge the Quran and you know what their hands became paralyzed some of them the most they would do is copy Alqariah they came up with nonsense like this
ٱلْفِيلُ. وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا ٱلْفِيلُ. لَهُ ذَنَبٌ وَبِيلٌ، وَخُرْطُومٌ طَوِيلٌ.
Translation
> The Elephant. And what will make you know what the Elephant is? It has a short tail and a long trunk.
Look at the scientific facts of the Quran.
{ ثُمَّ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلنُّطۡفَةَ عَلَقَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡعَلَقَةَ مُضۡغَةࣰ فَخَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡمُضۡغَةَ عِظَـٰمࣰا فَكَسَوۡنَا ٱلۡعِظَـٰمَ لَحۡمࣰا ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَـٰهُ خَلۡقًا ءَاخَرَۚ فَتَبَارَكَ ٱللَّهُ أَحۡسَنُ ٱلۡخَـٰلِقِینَ }
[Surah Al-Muʾminūn: 14]
then We made that drop into a clinging form, and We made that form into a lump of flesh, and We made that lump into bones, and We clothed those bones with flesh, and later We made him into other forms––glory be to God, the best of creators!––

All these things show Allah exists.
The Cosmological Urgument.
They say, whatever begins to exist has a cause, this universe begun to exist so it had a cause.
There are 4 scenarios.
1. It came from nothing without a cause, thats impossible from nothing you cant get anything so it cant be. They also said that it came as a result of a big bang.
{أَوَلَمۡ یَرَ ٱلَّذِینَ كَفَرُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَ ٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ كَانَتَا رَتۡقࣰا فَفَتَقۡنَـٰهُمَاۖ وَجَعَلۡنَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَاۤءِ كُلَّ شَیۡءٍ حَیٍّۚ أَفَلَا یُؤۡمِنُونَ }
[Surah Al-Anbiyāʾ: 30]
Are the disbelievers not aware that the heavens and the earth used to be joined together and that We ripped them apart, that We made every living thing from water? Will they not believe?
Earth spins once every ~24 hours on its axis.
The axis isn’t perfectly upright — it’s tilted.

At closest approach (perihelion) it’s about 147.1 million km (≈ 91.4 million miles).
At farthest (aphelion) it’s about 152.1 million km (≈ 94.5 million miles).
There was once an atheist in (or near) Baghdad who publicly challenged the people: he didn’t believe in God, and he demanded the best Muslim debater to come argue with him.
2. The people chose Imam Abu Hanīfa as their best debater.
3. A time was set, and a messenger left to summon Abu Hanīfa. When the time came, Abu Hanīfa had not yet arrived. As hours passed, the atheist mocked the Muslims, saying that Abu Hanīfa was too scared to come.
4. Finally Abu Hanīfa arrived. He was asked why he was so late. His explanation: he needed to cross the River Tigris, but there was no boat, no ferryman, no sailor.
5. While waiting at the riverbank, suddenly planks of wood (or boards) emerged from the river (from the riverbed), joined themselves into a shape of a boat; nails came up and fixed the boards together (without being hammered); a sealant appeared and sealed the gaps; a sail came into being; the boat then moved by itself toward Abu Hanīfa, invited him aboard, carried him across the river—no pilot, no navigator. At the far bank, he disembarked, and the boat disappeared.
6. When questioned by the atheist, Abu Hanīfa used it as an analogy:
If you cannot believe that a simple boat could come into being by itself without a maker,
How then can you believe that the entire universe came into being by itself without a Creator?
Moving on to scenario number 2. It created itself
Can your mother give birth to her self?
Scenario number 3. It was created by something else created
Scenario number 4 it was created by something uncreated
Oh Muslims, if Shaytan fails in his first stage—making you a kafir, stripping you of this priceless gift of iman that outweighs the seven heavens—praise be to Allah, he doesn't give up. He descends to the next levels, step by step, like a predator circling its prey, always whispering, always plotting, as he vowed in Surah Al-A'raf (7:16-17).
Stage 2: Bid'ah (Religious Innovation)
If kufr doesn't touch you, Shaytan whispers innovations into your worship—practices that look pious but twist the pure deen of Muhammad ﷺ. He makes you chase "good deeds" not found in Quran or Sunnah, like adding extra rituals to salah or celebrating un-Islamic festivals, thinking you're closer to Allah. But bid'ah corrupts the foundation, as the Prophet ﷺ said: "Every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance leads to the Fire" (Sahih Muslim 867). It deceives by inflating your ego—you feel holy, but you're building on sand. Seek the authentic: stick to the Book and the Sunnah, and run from anything that smells of novelty.
Stage 3: Major Sins (Kaba'ir)
Failing here, he pushes you toward the big sins that shatter your heart—zina, riba, alcohol, backbiting on a grand scale, or abandoning the five pillars. These are the gates to Hell, wide open if unrepented. Allah warns in Surah An-Nur (24:21) of following his footsteps into indecency and evil. Shaytan beautifies them: "Just once, it'll feel good—no one will know." But one slip leads to chains, as in the hadith: "The eyes commit zina, the hands commit zina..." (Sahih Bukhari 6612). Guard your gates—lower your gaze, fast, and make istighfar before the sin knocks.
Stage 4: Minor Sins (Sagha'ir)
If the majors repel you, he scatters small sins like dust—white lies, wasting time on haram glances, delaying salah by minutes, or harsh words in jest. These seem harmless, but they pile up, blackening the heart like drops filling a vessel. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Beware of the small sins, for they gather like a people camping in an open land" (Tirmidhi 2673). Shaytan's trick: "It's nothing, Allah is Forgiving." But neglect breeds laziness, and soon the heart hardens. Cleanse daily with wudu, Quran recitation, and sincere tawbah—don't let pebbles become a mountain.
Stage 5: Permissible Acts That Waste Time (Mubah without Barakah)
Now he shifts to the neutral—halal but hollow: endless scrolling, chit-chat, or hobbies that eat your hours without benefit. No sin, but no dhikr, no family time, no seeking knowledge. It's the slow poison, as time is your currency for the Akhirah. Allah says in Surah Al-Asr (103:1-3): "By time, man is in loss—except those who believe, do righteous deeds, enjoin truth, and enjoin patience." Shaytan whispers: "Relax, you deserve it after a long day." But the grave will ask: "What did you do?" Prioritize: audit your day, cut the excess, fill with what pleases Allah.
Stage 6: Good Deeds, But the Lesser Over the Greater
His final, subtlest trap: He lets you do amal, but diverts to the optional over the fard—nafl prayers instead of perfecting fard, small sadaqah over jihad of the soul, or worldly success over true taqwa. You feel productive, but rewards are capped. As in the hadith: "The first thing a servant will be asked about is salah—if it's sound, the rest follows" (Tirmidhi 413). Shaytan says: "Good enough, why strive more?" But Allah loves the muhsinun who perfect the obligatory first. Aim high: quality over quantity, ikhlas in every act.
Brothers and sisters, these stages aren't theory—they're Shaytan's playbook, patient and precise. From birth's cry to deathbed's whisper, he's relentless, but Allah's mercy is greater. Seek refuge as in Surah Al-Mu'minun (23:97-98): "A'udhu bika rabbi min hamazat ash-shayatin... wa a'udhu bika rabbi an yahdurun." Recite Ayat al-Kursi, Surah Al-Falaq, and An-Nas thrice morning and evening. Surround yourself with righteous company, and remember Imam Ahmad's stand: Even at death, Shaytan bites his fingers in defeat if you die upon iman.
